Beyond all expectations!
By J. Roberts
I started fishing with my father nearly three decades ago, and although I may not be the best fisherman, I still know what I want, and I still recognize quality. Between my wife and I, we have 6 rod/reels in our garage. We have so many because each one is set up to how we each like them, so we both have three to choose from. Well, we took our rods down to the lake, and although everything worked fine, we spent just as much time watching our reels for knots, as we did fishing. Living in a small town, there's a limited choice of fishing line to choose from, and most is the clear monofilament fishing line, so I decided to come to Amazon and find a better selection. I came across this line at a great price, and at 330 yards, that's enough to fill up three reels. The first thing I noticed was the visibility of this line. Out of water, this line is easily 4x more visible than the clear line, and in water, it dissapears within inches. The second thing I noticed was the strength. Within minutes of fishing, a fish dragged my line right behind a stump that got caught with the 2nd hook on my jig. I tugged and pulled, and decided to cut my line to keep the pressure off my rod, and pull it in by hand. After a few minutes, I finally felt a release, and thought the line broke, but after pulling in the line, it quickly became appearant that the line was intact, and it was my knot that had actually given out. Considering this was only 6 pound test, and I was pulling easily with 30+ pounds of force, I was very impressed with the line. After closer inspection, I never noticed a single flaw in the line that appeared after it was stretched out like that. Most importantly, not a single knot in the line after 50+ casts, now I can focus all my time on fishing.I know there are those that see Stren as the, "Cheap stuff," and if you want good line, then you pay for spiderwire or other brands, but I can honestly say that this line performed just as good as the higher end line that my father likes to use. I mean, you can ay more for othear features like braided line, or different colors, but at the end of the day, there wasn't one flaw with this line.

Exellent line. So thin/fine, and so strong
By JR Fent
Big trout fishing yesterday - I was casting super far and the line came off the reel clean every time. No looping, no knotting up, smooth thin line that was invisible in the water. Made for a great day - I caught way more fish than the rest of the guys I was fishing with.

I really like this line. The line is very tough and handles abrasion well. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that it is a little stiff. I would recommend this line.
