Fun Craft Project
By Jen G
This kit is very similar to other Greenleaf dollhouse kits. I find the instructions easy to follow, and everything that was supposed to be in my kit was in the box when it arrived. Box comes with the wood sheets, instructions, window panes, faux brick siding, and sand paper. These kits are really fun to put together, but don't expect to put it together overnight; painting takes a long time. The completed houses are intended for adults; they contain many small pieces, so the finished product is not reccommended for a child to play with

Beautiful House; Make sure you get instructions
By J. Colabella
This house is designed to be glued together. Tabs fit into slots and are held with wood glue, so you don't need nails. You will need instructions, which didn't come with the kit I bought on Amazon. The seller said contact the mfr and they were able to email them to us. We got the kit on a Friday & the mfr wasn't open 'til Monday, so we'd figured the main structure out by the time we got the instructions, but it was nice to have the ornamental pieces labelled. The plastic sheet that had the window pieces was missing.Again, the seller said contact the mfr, who offered to replace it for $6. We passed. Wefound a great miniature dollhouse communityonline for advice and used their photos to put the structure together. It's a full scale house (1"=1'), which is nice because regular dollhouse furniture will fit. There's no siding, but my daughter preferred that because it was easier for her to paint. It's a nice size house with large rooms. The porches and trim detail give it a lot of character. It was relatively quick to assemble (with instructions it would be very easy). The roof is the most time consuming because we're glueing a couple rows of shingles on at a time (3 or 4 shingles at a time) to keep them from warping.Overall an excellent house. I give it a 4 because I wish the shingles were a little thicker to prevent warping & make installation easier. I give the mfr a 2 for not including the instructions and trying to sell us the missing window panes instead of replacing them, and the seller a 3 for directing us to the mfr and not replacing the missing windows or locating instructions for us. Their customer service could have been much better. Contact the seller first, though, to make sure all the pieces are inside the box (we were fortunate our missing piece was only decorative, not structural) and maybe the mfr as well to make sure you can still get assembly instructions.
