5Great Travel Jacket
By Truly Oregon
I bought the rain logic jacket to take on a month long trip to England and Scotland. The jacket is lightweight, has an oversized-hood which protects your face from rain, and has armpit zippers. It's also a great wind-breaker. I bought the large size so I could layer it over another jacket. While on our trip, England and Scotland had record breaking rainfall. Rain just rolled off the jacket; when it wasn't raining, the jacket fit into the small backpack I carried daily. The black color looks dressy.Carol

4RainLogic Jacket
By Deborah Cross
I love the jacket. It really is a rain jacket and keeps the rain off you. My only complaint is that the zipper is not user friendly. I have a hard time engaging the zipper and because I like the jacket I keep the zipper engaged and pull it over my head to wear.

4Nice Jacket.
By Brenda S. Eastep
Nice looking jacket; haven't tried it in the rain, but it appears to be water repellent. It runs probably a size small in particular the sleeves are pretty tight and there is no stretch. It will be difficult to wear any heavy garment underneath. The coat looks really nice and gives a flattering silhouette.

4Nice Sander
By Mr. Mark P. Callanan
We figured for the price we had to try this sanderWe are a drywall company that drywall about 200 houses a yearWe have always used the Porter Cable sander for our sanding needs and really haven't been happy with how well they stand up to our sanding needs ( as a rule they need to be rebuilt 2 times a year)We saw this sander at 1/2 the price and we had to try itSo far in 2 months of use it is better in most ways then the Porter CableOne thing though it is heavy and that is why I put it at 4 starsI think this is a buy for anyone needing a sander for drywall.....

5Great Tool
By Tarzan Construction
I purchased this tool to bale me out of my first drywall project. I'm one of those impatient people who don't want to put a million layers of mud on, so I put a lot on at once. Needless to say I learned not to do that. This drywall sander took care of my problem in a hurry though. Sanded the excess mud off in a hurry and performed amazingly for a fraction of the price of the major brand names. The head of the sander moved easily in all directions and evenly distributed pressure across the surface of they drywall in any position. The variable speed is by far the best thing to have so you can sand according to how much your taking off. The sander has plenty of power at any of the variable speed settings. Very lightweight and easy to use, I highly recommend this product to anyone.

5G1745 Elecric drywall sander
By Brian Pohl
You can't beat this item for the price. I am a rehabber and I hate sanding drywall. This tool turned an all day hand sanding project into a couple of hours. It gets a little heavy when doing ceilings but it still beats hand sanding. You still have to sand the inside corners by hand, but it gets within 1/2" or closer to them. I have only used it for one job now, but expect many more out of it. The only problem I had was the vacuum lines are a little cheezy, and the machine still put out dust with a shop vac attached, plan on wearing a mask. I had to give it 5 stars considering it was only $150 shipping included.

4Nice packable jacket
By collects.junk
Ex Officio has made a name for itself by excelling at travel-ready clothing: lightweight, quick-drying, and packable. Considering how compressible this jacket is, the amount of warmth it offers is pretty amazing. Filled with PrimaLoft, which according to the manufacturer retains its ability to warm even when wet, this water-resistant and also windproof jacket is quite the all-in-one deal, and only weighs ~15-16 oz! The shell and the lining are both 100% polyester, but they feel like a soft nylon fabric. The inside collar is lined with microfleece, which also covers the top end of the zipper, I guess to protect your chin from getting chafed. Inside the jacket there are 2 unzippered pockets on the right side labeled for sunglasses and boarding pass-the sunglasses pocket is pretty deep, but the opening itself is rather narrow, making it perfect for sunglasses, but a bit too narrow to easily retrieve smaller items. The boarding pass pocket is also deep, but with a much wider opening that easily accommodates a questing hand. On the left side are 2 more pockets, but both zippered. The top one is a vertical pocket for cell phones, the bottom is a horizontal pocket for keys which includes a key clip inside. Another semi-hidden pocket can be found on the bottom part of the left-side sleeve; this can presumably be used as a security pocket, as it's hard to tell it's even there! The inside tail contains a cord which can be tightened on either side (bungee cinches just below the zipper ends) to keep the cold from seeping in through the bottom. The inside tail part of the jacket also contains the Velcro snaps and pocket that can be used to make the travel pillow. Honestly, the pillow that the rolled up jacket makes is pretty lumpy, due to the zippers poking out and the general lumpiness after squeezing everything in, and I don't think it's worth it to utilize this particular function. While the jacket features are pretty awesome, there are a few drawbacks. First, a personal pet peeve: like most synthetic winter jackets, this baby attracts a lot of static! (If you find one that doesn't, please let me know!) Second, although the contour lines on the jacket are a nice style feature, they can't hide the fact that the body of the jacket is quite boxy. I'm 5'7" and 115 lbs, so very slender, but I felt that the body was cut too wide (I have the XS size). While the shoulders are perfectly narrow, the body is a bit too wide, even with a sweater underneath. However, I will say that I have very long arms, and the sleeves on the jacket were perfect. My husband was gifted the men's version of this jacket in a size L, and at 6'4", his sleeves are also fine for his long arms! All-in-all, a great jacket that I'd bring along while traveling, but not an everyday jacket for me--with the boxy fit, it's just not stylish enough!

5Great lightweight jacket perfect for travel!
By CMJ
I've had this jacket for about a year now and I love it! At first I was a little disappointed because it is very thin, but its not bulky so that is good. I have used it on cool days where it started out in the 20s and 30s hiking, and around town in the same temperatures but layering a bit more since I'm moving around less. It also blocks moderate wind. It is perfect for those cool Texas mornings that then warm up to 60 or so!. This jacket has many pockets, turns into a neck pillow, and is soft. I have it in black and since I use it often for outdoors it has been washed MANY times, and it still looks and feels great.

5Wonderful lightweight jacket
By TropicalMinnesota
This has a very soft outer fabric and a very thin insulating layer. It was a little cool for a walk in 45 degree weather when worn over a light shirt. It was fine once I got moving, but I would not wear it to watch a spectaror sport under 55 degrees or so without a decent sweater underneath. Fortunately it is a generous size, so that is not a problem. I ordered a size less than I expected - check the sizes on the company's web site before you order. The sleeves are quite long and have elastic wrists, so even though they are a bit long on me they still look right. It has lots of inside pockets that I was amused to see had icons embroidered to let me know what was supposed to go where. It folds into a long pillow (not a horseshoe shaped neck pillow like I saw another jacket make) that can button to make a circle. I bought this in part for travel, but loading the pockets with my passport, glasses, phone, etc. will make it rather uncomfortable as a neck roll and removing everything will be more work than just keeping everything someplace else from the start. This is a great jacket and Amazon's price is terrific. I am very happy with my purchase.

5best steel toe work boot EVER!
By Mark's Amazon
I LOVE THESE! Built like a tank. Never worn a pair out. Comfortable.I have owned 6 pair of the Sledge boots with the Michelin Exalto sole. They are very comfortable and don't need break in time. I prefer the external metatarsal guard and the 6" upper. This "high" boot is the 8" upper.Met-guards are nice even if you're not required to get them. If you weld, the guard keeps dirt and sparks off the laces.SOLE/LEATHERThe sole has an aggressive tread and picks up mud, pebbles, screws. The soles grip very well. These are probably the only steel toe boots that I did not get holes in the toes through to the steel toe, out of 6 pair. The sole wears great and will never crack, even after 5 years or more. These boots have the longest lasting sole I've ever had. I did not notice the soles getting melted by weld spatter or hot scraps. The leather is great and lasts long too, without oiling. I didn't oil/wax them because I got them at work from the shoe truck and got them really dirty first. I recommend oiling/waxing them or spraying them with waterproofing before wearing and they will be even better. It would be dificult to oil/wax beneath the external met-guard. I chose to spray waterproofing on my boots and beneath my met-guards. I don't know how oils/wax and sprays mix but may try the oil/wax at some point. I just wish they came with Gore Tex and they could almost be the ultimate boot.MY WORKI used to work in the steel manufacturing industry for Nucor Steel. Even after one year of heavy use in dirt, steel dust, grease, sparks, cutting, welding, mud, snow, and a lot of standing, walking, running, shuffling, etc, that is very heavy use, I had not completely worn out the soles. Each year I just bought a new pair with the boot allowance and kept the old boots.PLACE OF PURCHASEI bought mine from the shoe truck and usually had to put my name on a waiting list since the truck store was always out of stock because of the demand! My first pair was only $110 in 1996, my last pair purchased was about $130 in 2011.EXTRA LONG TERM USE : See my pictures (Pictures on Michelin Sledge High page)You'll definitely get your $ worth. In 2013, I still have not worn out a pair. I still own and use 4 pair of my old boots for other work and personal use, sometimes even hiking. I gave 2 pair out of 6 away just because I had so many usable pairs left over. The leather is good and lasts too. I have one boot which got a 1/2" cut in the side by a razor Sharp piece of steel when I stepped against it. No boot can withstand that. I shoe gooed the hole just fine. Shoe Goo is awesome!Tarsal Guard: The tarsal guard leather will eventually crack from heavy, long term use a little bit on the sides by the stitching on the toe because how it is mounted to the shoe, but only maybe after 1+ yrs of use and in no way affects the safety or functionality of the boot. Compare that length of time with any other similar type of boot where the entire guard tears off in like 6 months. After a few years use, continued cracking on the sides and the tarsal guard leather stitching split apart, I decided to completely cut off the tarsal guard on top of the toe like any other boot. I shoe gooed the newly cut toe leather edge down and they look like they came that way and still have that 2nd layer of toe protection. See my pictures (Pictures on Michelin Sledge High page)LACES: The shoe lace eyelets on the tarsal guard will wear out in 6 months and will cut through heavy laces like every 2 weeks. Most people at work were cheap and used company wire ties to hold the tarsal guard to the laces on the boot, which works. I found a special rope for a shoe lace that lasts 1+ years even with the sharply worn eyelets. If these break, they can even be melted together and keep going. Best laces ever!OTHER STYLE MICHELINS: I bought one pair of the internal tarsal guard Michelin Exalto. They are very stiff and took at least 2+ months to break in just a little, they squeak or sort make a quack sound when I walk and after a year they are not near as comfortable as the Sledge was even brand new. I don't remeber the Sledge model squeaking, but it usually does not matter when you work in noisy environments so I don't feel its an issue. One reviewer said it's the inner sole because it has a plastic base and you could just replace the sole if it bothers you. Still worth buying the best boot ever!

5worth it
By Timothy Tichenor
I have owed this work boot for little over two years now and its still going strong. The first year was worn mostly out doors in a farm supply type work environment. Walking in and around chemicals like potash, urea to name a few. I've done lots of climbing, lots of walking on gravel as well as concrete. The second year i've had these i've done lots of walking on concrete 8 hours a day nearly 7 days a week. These boots are still holding up well and in good condition. I recently did buy insoles for them and feels like a brand new boot again.

5My Favorite Pants
By scotlas
I absolutely love these pants! I have owned them in 3 sizes (losing weight!) and have searched various websites to get the best price on them. The color has never faded on any of the pair I've owned (my original black pair still looks as good as my new black pair), even after weekly washings for more than a year. I wish ExOfficio made them in more colors - I have the black and cigar colors - I think they just introduced a new color for this winter - so I'll keep my eye out for it at the end of season sales. The fit is great, the length is great for me, I'm 5'6", 152 lbs, and a size 8 is perfect on me. I dress them up or down, they get worn to work, to volunteer, out around town - and always when I travel.I know everyone's body shapes are different - but give these a try - I'm so glad I did!

5Very light and comfortable
By Jamie
These are very nice pants, nice quality. I like the security pockets, and the pants are vented to help keep cool. I have only worn them once, and have not tested some of the features (stain resistant, water resistant, quick drying, etc.), however the fit is true to size (I typically wear a 4, and a 4 fit nicely).Beware though, these are not convertible pants. I thought they were based on the picture. I was disappointed, but I liked these pants enough to keep them anyway, especially because they were on sale. I think the wrong picture is shown for this product, as the picture does not look like the pants I received upon further inspection. These pants do come in a convertible version, so if the non-convertible pants are not on sale, I would just buy the convertible version personally.

5Beat the Heat
By shooper810
Working in extreme heat conditions these pants are lightweight, vented at the knees and fit great. The lenght for the size 14 fit's my 5'5" perfectly. They don't way you down to wear them. I love the cell phone pocket and the front and cargo pockets. The cellphone pocket do not swallow your phone, you can reach it when it rings. The cargo pockets are very roomy but do not have the bulk. And the front pockets do not add bulk to your stomach. A very good feel in hot weather. Worth the Price in this heat!

5Nice pair of hiking pants
By J. Hawkins
I bought these pants a week ago. Extremely comfortable, able to move freely and they look great. Love all the pockets. The best part is how quickly they dry especially since I have worn them quite a bit. They shrunk a little bit which was good since they were a long on me. Now they are perfect. (inseam for me is 31.25) I am off to Yellowstone at the end of the month and these pants are coming with me.

4Good, sturdy carrier

So far this has been a great carrier for our electric wheelchair. It seems very sturdy and does not tilt or sag. It is also easy to use. We have only had it a couple of days, but are very happy with it so far.

5Works good!
By Ernie
I priced an identical unit at Medice for over $650.00, I could see no difference between what they are selling and this unit except they install it. My neighbor installed this on my Ranger Pick-up in about 45 minutes and it works fine for my model 600 Rascal 4-wheel mobilty scooter. Keep in mind you wouldn't want to drive up on this as it sits about 18" off the ground but my cart pushes easily up the ramp and a couple of trailer ties secures it nicely.

2comfortable but flimsy
By slowly
Amazingly comfortable in the wet humid air of India but within two weeks the zipper at the knees failed and I had to wear them as shorts only. Not what I expected from a $60 pair of pants. I'd suggest finding another brand with the same material or a model without a zipper.

5Later, Skeeters
By CDF
I took these with me to the Galapagos Islands. I specifically chose this pair for the insect shield, knowing that they would be lightweight but durable enough for what I was going to put them through. They held up great on the islands fending off garua and some pretty intense layers of mud. Bonus that the zipper converter made beach detail doable with the same pants/shorts. It is worth noting that the wash instructions specifically say to avoid fabric softeners. This is often a care instruction given to garments with waterproofing, though I suspect it has to do with the insect barrier in this case.Back at home in the Sonoran desert they are still pulling their weight. I haven't snagged myself on a cactus yet but the thin material probably won't stand up to that sort of abuse. The conversion legs are great in what passes for Winter around here, with cool evening and morning temps giving way to shorts-worthy heat by afternoon. I have not experienced the zipper failure issue myself, but I don't use these as everyday pants either; they just pull hiking detail. The odorless insect shield is working well in both places. I didn't meet any mosquitoes in the Galapagos at any time while alternating between my two pairs of these pants. Back home I've waded into some pretty thick clouds of mosquitoes (we like some of the same places) and been bothered comparatively little. A few individuals seem to get brave these days which may mean the built in layer is wearing out after seven months. All in all I'd call that fair, if slightly less than the advertised "70 washes".

5Works for me
By D. Wyatt
These are very lightweight hiking pants so put your expectations in the proper prospective with regards to durability. I have a closet full of North Face outdoor pants which I like immensely and they wear like iron. These are lighter weight than all of those. I purchased these to specifically keep the blood suckers under control (insect shield) when hiking after the snow melt. They do that well. Plenty of room for movement. If you wear them for everyday use, you will probable get zipper failure like one of the other reviewers mentioned. The fit was good though I wish they had an integrated belt like my North Face pants. Happy so far with these.

5Loved this gown
By Diane Russell
I purchased this gown to where during our recent children's celebration. I was very pleased with the gown and received many compliments. The only problem I had was that the ribbons on the inside of the sleeves, showed and I didn't know what to do with them. But, overall, it was a great buy. It was a little warm to wear in the summer, But I felt like a princess.

5Water Off the Duck's Back
By OverACliff
I loitered around Amazon watching the price of this jacket last year. I got for $73 bucks - so watch for a bargain if you want the jacket. This is simply the best rain jacket I have ever owned. It's very light for summer wear. It's great for a wind/rain layer in colder climates. Zippers are first rate.ProsGarment materials are first rate.Great barrier against rain.Functional hood.Very light - great for travel.Quality constructionConsWell, if anything, price. But you get what you paid for.

5A great jacket!
By Zukey5
I have now owned this jacket for over a year. It is lightweight, waterproof and very durable. It fits close so you can wear it as a layer. This year I was in Nepal for the monsoon season and I wore it everyday. Today I wore it for an underlayer for a football game in 30 degree weather. It packs up nice in my backpack and always has a nice appearance. I have the blue one and the color is great. I keep it hanging near the front door and wear it all the time yet it still looks great. I just bought one for my daughter and son for Christmas. I know they will love it too.

2Not What I Call 'Packable'
By D. Reilly
After buying the ExOfficio Men's Storm Logic Jacket I wanted to get something a little lighter that would also fit into a pouch and be easily packable. Although the write-up for this jacket says that it is 'packable', it does not fit into a pouch like other jackets. It is basically just your typical rain jacket. On another note, the hood and sleeves are cut weird. The peak of the hood and the top of the sleeves are pointed.Note: I ended up replacing this jacket with the Magellan's Men's Multi-Pockets Stowable Packable Rain Jacket which is more what I was looking for.

5Very safe even after a BIG crash
By Rodel Cacas
I bought this particular model about 1 year ago for my now, 4 year old son. We attached it to my hybrid bike which went on flawlessly. I've tried other bike seats in the past and this particular bike appear to be more complicated to install; however, it is very sturdy. One fall morning, my family and I were on a long bike ride on a paved trail in Kansas City. It was fall, so a lot of the leaves have littered the tracks. We were going down on a somewhat steep hill (pretty fast) when we hit a large hole covered by a pile of wet leaves. We lost control, swerved, and suffered a fairly big crash. I suffered a torn meniscus on my left knee as I tried to stop the bike from falling on its side too strong, thus buckling my leg in. My son was asleep on the bike seat with a helmet on. I had tied an old sweatshirt on the side to give him more cushion room while sleeping. The bike landed hard on its side, but the bike seat absolutely absorbed the impact away from my child. His helmet was not even touched. He barely noticed, because he was mildly started and instantly went back to sleep comfortably. If it fits your bike, then I HIGHLY recommend this bike seat for the price. The plastic molding around the seat works very well as a protective feature. I simply cannot see many other seats providing this much protection.

4Great seat, worked for us
By Honeybelles
I wanted to leave a review of this seat since our experience was so different from the other reviews. I was able to install the seat by myself in less than 45 minutes with my 2 year old in the way the whole time. I had no problems mounting the frame onto the seat post. Obviously if this carrier is not compatible with your bike frame, it will not work. The seat itself is great. My daughter is 29lbs and has plenty of room to grow. I'm 5'2 so maybe my height is the reason my feet never hit the foot rests? I am not a bike expert and I don't have an expensive bike, I didn't even check the specifications before buying yet it was very easy to put together. We were cruising around the neighborhood (in her new princess helmet of course) less than an hour after I pulled it out of the box.The loose screws and bolts are separated into different sealed and labeled compartments for each step of assembly- (i.e. Step 1 use parts in compartment A.) This keeps you from having to sort through dozens of washers and bolts looking for the right one. There are 3 plastic pieces for the seat itself: the bottom that is mounted to the bike, the back of the seat which gets bolted to the bottom, and a cross piece that she can hold onto. The fabric liner has extra padding on the bottom. There is a 3 point harness that goes over the head and rests on the shoulders and between the legs. An additional harness goes across the waist. After tightening all the harnesses, she was very secure and I could see how this would keep her strapped in should we ever have an unfortunate fall. Overall, I would recommend this seat.

2Better design needed.
By J. Rhodes
We've had this seat for two years. Here's my experience:1. Installation. Takes some time, but the instructions are good. It's one of those installations that after you install it, you say to yourself "is that right?". However, I have shaken this seat HARD many times just to make sure it was attached solidly. It is.2. As for the assertion regarding "Seat can be removed from rack in seconds for solo rides". I guess you can measure a flight from New York to San Fran in seconds, and no, it doesn't take that long to remove the seat. However, this seat has three long small diameter bolts. It's difficult to get the leverage to tighten them down by hand, and just as difficult to remove. Also, the seat cushion adds to the difficult of getting under it to screw the back bolts. Feeding the bolts into the rack can also offer challenges. If you leave the seat on all the time, you'll bypass this challenge.3. Now the reason we decided to get rid of this seat. We have two child. When I'm riding behind the wife, I often ask her to stop because the seat looks like it's about to come off. Anytime my wife hits a bump, the seat sways a lot. I shake it hard again (see the trend), check the bolts, the rack, etc. The seat is solidly attached, it's not coming off. My guess, because there are no shocks for the seat, anytime the bike shakes, the seat has to give somewhere, and it looks like the seat is going to come off. The wife and I were biking in DC and a cyclists past her and said "is that seat installed correctly".Even though this seat is attached correctly, I don't trust it because it always looks like it's about to come off. We just bought a Topeak child seat which has shocks on it, so it cushions the ride and doesn't swaying excessively. I'm about to buy another one for my bike. It literally is a seat that takes seconds to mount and unmount. It's twice as much, but I feel more secure using the Topeak seat.
