GTX460 SC 1024 - HOT

I have purchased EVGA products in the past. Their customer service is the best around. I recently had a EVGA card purchased in 2007, received RMA and they sent me a replacement card 3 days later.With the brand determined, I selected the GTX460 card after reading the reviews on the new FERMI cards and this card seemed to be the card that had the best value for the money (over spending 2x for the higher versions).There is nothing I can't run on it's highest settings. I stepped up from a EVGA GTS8800, so this card rocks!Despite having the "external exhaust" feature, this card does create some heat. Just make sure you have enough case cooling. No real problems in my rig...just pointing that out.One very important feature in the EVGA product model numbers: "AR" means LIFETIME warranty. Other model numbers mean 2 year, 5 years, etc. Pay attention to this because you will find less expensive cards with a lesser warranty. See their web [...]

EVGA GTX 460 delivers

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend. I was going to get another brand of the same card, but this one has a limited lifetime warranty. Of course what the hell does a limited lifetime warranty mean.It also had a better heat sink than most others. The price is hard to beat. Popped it into my machine and instantly cranked all my games settings to ultra. Boom done.

Great price/performance

Picked this up for $220, lifetime warranty, huge upgrade from the old 8800GT. Very quiet, but make sure to check your 12V rails and ensure it can push 24AMPS+ to each rail, takes up to 300W's by itself at full load. Great pickup.
