I purchased this after talking to a gardner about Tanaka equipment. I almost went for a Stihl bg55 which runs about the same but decided on this product since the warranty is a very impressive 7 years and the $30.00 rebate made it a no brainer...I am very happy with this purchase so far and I will post an update soon.Peace out.

BROKEN FUEL LINES --Great value, weight, ease of use, and blowing

ANOTHER ADDITION TO THE REVIEW: I hadn't gotten through the tank of gas that this blower was returned to me with from the fuel line repairs and the shear pin on the flywheel broke. Sounded like a screeching box of rocks. Took it back in, for another 5 weeks of repair/warranty authorization. Guess I got the friday afternoon model...ADDITIONAL REVIEW: All the below still applies, but 2 months and 1.5 tanks of Chevron Premium, and the supplied oil, and EVERY fuel line on this thing has rotted and cracked off of it. They will all need replacing. It's like they used vacuum line instead of fuel line. Pretty lousy, but under warranty I guess.. I had to whack a star off of it for this..ANOOOOTHHHHER PROBLEM: Its now 6/11/12 and I've had to take this blower back in for fuel lines leaking. I STILL use CHevron premium and ProGard 1251 oil. Should be fine. Everything else I own runs great with no issues. They call it a "wear" item under warranty. I don't consider a tank and 1/2 of usage "wear".ANNOTTTHERRR Problem: 03/12 The shear pin on the crankshaf/flywheel apparently sheared, and it sounded like a box of rocks. JUST AS A REMINDER>>> I'm a regular home owner, who uses this thing about 10-15 minutes a week.Downgrading it to 2 stars, and I can't keep it running. WOrks great when it works..Just got this blower and love it! It blows lava rocks with no problems. Its light enough for my wife to use and enjoy. I think for the price, its hard to beat. The whole thing about the fuel mixture at 50:1 for California.... no to sure I'd do that, even living in CA. I prefer the 25:1 they recommend for all the other normal states!I agree with the other review that says to base your purchase on warranty repair availability in your area. The Hitachi or the Tanaka version. Same machine. I went in to my local repair shop and they had 6 of these for sale, and no others. They were in love with them too.. Its not a question of whether to buy it. Just which one!Just as a side note. They also said NOT to buy any Hitachi Hedge Trimmer. Just the blower.....

I was worried but this blanket rocks.

I wanted a nice down comforter for a while and decided to scoop one up before this years winter, where my loft gets cold when the temp drops to negative 40(interior Alaska). After reading some of the reviews about a wide variety of real down comforters, I noticed that all seemed to complain about leaking feathers and whatnot so i decided maybe an alternative might be the ticket. when i saw the symphony of good reviews on this product and its great price + super saver shipping i ordered it. Shopping around town for a duvet cover I came across a down alternative blanket which felt nothing like the real down blanket next to it. I was bummed and wondered why i had order a down alternative so halfheartedly and questioned what i would do with it when i came; if I'd even open the box. When i did come i checked it out and was stoked at how DOWN-LIKE THIS DUVET INSERT REALLY FEELS. I'm not a connoisseur or anything, but I could barley tell the difference. Unlike the other down alternatives i had come across.It's warm, not ridiculously thick but thick, and comes out of the spaciously packed box already fluffy.

Soft and not pokey!

I just got this in the mail. Not only did it come earlier than the estimate ship date, it came not compacted into a brick but in a nice large box so I didn't have to puff it up with a few beatings. I nearly squealed when I finally put it into my new cute duvet cover... it's perfect. Soft and fluffy, doesn't smell weird like down does, and it doesn't have feathers to fluff around my (small) dorm room. I can't wait for it to get cold outside, this is going to be my haven after studying on those ridiculously chilly nights. I've had a feather duvet insert from Calvin Klein, and they're nearly identical in comfort, minus the crazy feathers. So excited!

You can't beat the value on this comforter. Unlike some of the other reviewers I did not find this comforter to be overly warm and I tend to prefer it a little cooler at night than most. It is comparable to other all-season comforters I've tried in the past.

Nice Chairs, Sturdy Construction

First off, below are some product specifics which are unclear or incorrect in the Amazon product info:Manufacturer: Coaster FurnitureModel Name: Damen Napoleon Dining Side Chair (part of the Damen Collection by Coaster)Model #: 4117These are NOT "Morrison" side chairs, but are as depicted in the photo (Damen Napoleon side chair).The chairs are nice, suitable for use in a kitchen or less formal dining room. I found the construction quality good.We ordered from Amazon seller "CozyStreet" and the items shipped via FedEx and the boxes arrived undamaged. CozyStreet also updated the Amazon order status with a tracking number, which is always nice.The white paint arrived without dents, scratches, or dings. Packing materials protected the chairs fairly well.Included with the chairs are all the hardware needed and a hex wrench. I also used a quality hex wrench from my toolbox, which made turning hex screws in some places much easier.Assembly was somewhat tricky given the tight spaces and requirement of screwing into hard wood. If you're not handy, call a handy person over to assist, and take your time, the chairs will come out fine. I am very handy, took my time, and assembly of two chairs took about 20 minutes.The chairs have a hand-carved shell in the top-center of the backrest (not visible in the photos online) which was a nice touch.The natural color seat portion of the chair has been shaped to fit a person's bottom, which is nice, and was also not visible in the photos.Lastly, the chairs are a bit larger than I expected (they are more dining room sized than kitchen sized) so check measurements in your room and table. Check for nearest Hitachi / Tanaka repair shop first

I agree with all of the excellent reviews. I would add just one tip: This blower is equivalent to the Tanaka TRB24EAP. The only differences are the the extra "T" in the model number, color, the name on the label, AND where you can get it serviced under that great 7-year warranty. They are even priced the same on Amazon as of this review.Tip: Take a few minutes to search the HitachiPowerTools.com and Tanaka-USA.com web sites to see which make has the most convenient certified repair shops for you.I managed to break the fuel pipe while moving things around in the shed in a hurry (my fault). I'm in a major metropolitan area with several small engine repair shops within a short drive, but the nearest certified Hitachi repair shop is an hour away. In contrast, the nearest Tanaka repair shop is 5 minutes away (there seem to be more Tanaka dealers in general). I'm going to pay for the repair out-of-pocket rather than driving 2 hours round trip or taking the time to mail the thing back to the factory for service.

This is the one to get

This is a quality machine - and is the same as the Tanaka, a brand used by many pro gardeners and landscape maintenance persons. I've had McCulloch, Ryobi and a Sears Craftsman (that I returned after the first use). This machine is lighter, runs much quieter, and has quite a bit more power than any of the others. It isn't really in the same league. This one runs flawlessly, has a ton of power, and a quality feel.Be aware of the mph ratings on some of these yard blowers. They get those ratings by including a worthless little tiny nozzle. That's how the Craftsman got its impressive ratings. But the thing had very poor real-world performance. This Hitachi doesn't come with gimmicky nozzles. You get ONE nozzle, that you always leave on, and that one works very well. For normal yard cleanup where you can't justify one of the expensive backpack units, this one has plenty of grunt.I originally wanted a blower-vac. No longer. The vac units all get mediocre reviews at best. The Sears blower I had for week was a poor performer, and the vac feature was useless. If you're like me and think you need the vac, re-think it. You probably don't need that worthless feature, and besides, it is a pain on most of these to convert from blower to vacuum. I suggest that you will be much happier with a quality blower-only.Some of the newer machines have a trigger lock so that you don't always have to hold the trigger. Unless you have a huge yard and are going to use the blower for an hour nonstop, that's another feature that you don't need. In this case it would be nice to have, but don't base your buying decision on it.I think this one is a great choice. It's not too much money - actually about $25 less money than the Echo at the local home improvement store, has a 7 year consumer warranty, starts easy hot or cold, and really moves some air.

It broke after 2 years

I bought it 2 years ago. I was good until the 2nd year. First the blower very slowly lost some blowing power. Then last week, as it was running, it made loud sharp metal noises like some loose metal banging inside. And that was it, the noises remained. The warranty was for 5 or 7 years (I forgot which), so I went online to report to Hitachi. The site said the blower had to be checked by "an authorized Hitachi service center first". OK...OK..They provided a map in the US to locate the closest ones. It gets really good now: there are only 9 authorized centers in the US! The only way to get to the closest one to me is to fly there by air! It is less expensive just to ditch away the blower!

Unbelievable amp!

I demoed this amp at Dusty Strings in Seattle... It BLEW ME AWAY! Incredible volume and balls but very transparent and open sound as well... The mixer is well thought out, just the right number of channels to make it truly useful. Thew LOWEST price I've seen for this amp is about $1,300... I cannot believe Amazon has a few at this price! I had to keep checking to make sure it was the same amp, but it is! If you're even considering it, grab one now and fast at this price. You will not regret it!

Do Not Buy

I give it two stars for the look of the product. I have the exact same chairs, but the table is square. I ordered it because I really liked the look of the product. Unfortunately, I have had so many problems with the set. Due to the drilled in holes in the chairs, table, and the holes in between the hinges on the chairs, I have had a problem with bees nesting in these holes and surrounding me every time I come outside. Another problem is the mold that builds up on this so called "outdoor furniture". I've tried to get rid of it using chemicals that are safe for porous surfaces, but with no luck. I do not recommend using this product as your outdoor furniture

Great overall guitar, minor quality issues

Godin did right when they introduced the Richmond line of electric guitars. The result was great Godin design and playability ... for less money. For that alone, the Empire deserves 5 stars. But it gets a 4-star rating due to a few problems.Let's get the bad stuff out of the way: 1. Appearance: Straight out of the box, everything looked great except for a small chip on the edge of the fingerboard (most likely a natural imperfection in the rosewood but nevertheless worth noting) and a minor surface flaw on the side of the neck at the heel (which I concealed by rubbing brown shoe polish into the wood). The factory-installed strings were of good quality, but I quickly swapped them for my preferred brand/gauge. I rarely have problems with string breakage, especially with a brand new set, yet it wasn't long before the high E string snapped at the bridge. I think the Empire's bridge design could be improved by rounding the corners at the wraparound points and/or providing grooves to guide the strings. (I eventually solved this problem by knowingly voiding the warranty and fashioning small, rounded grooves for each string at the wraparound point with the help of a nut file.) 2. Electronics: The 3-way toggle switch (pickup selector) was initially functional but somewhat noisy. Within a few months of moderate use, the switch totally failed in the bridge position, leaving me with only the neck pickup in both the neck and middle positions. I checked the wiring and all solder connections seemed fine, so I'm hoping it's just a defective switch (something I have yet to replace).The good stuff: 1. The Empire's neck is awesome! Open-position and bar chords are a breeze to fret. The back of the neck has a fast, worn-in feel. The medium-size frets are perfectly finished. 2. The body is ergonomically contoured and lightweight, making it very comfortable to play, with easy access to the upper frets. 3. The tilted headstock features staggered tuning pegs that fit my fingertips just right. 4. The Graph Tech "Tusq" nut is ping-free. 5. The pickups sound great. The stock Godin bridge humbucker is perfect for hard rock and blues, and holds up well when compared to pricier, after-market replacements (that means I like it and won't be replacing it). The Godin single-coil pickup in the neck position is fatter-sounding and quieter than most single-coils, making it well-suited for clean blues and jazz. 6. The deluxe gig bag has zippered pockets everywhere.I recently parted with a more expensive Godin LG model, which I'd had a few years before purchasing this guitar. In my opinion, the Richmond Empire is a better instrument. It just needs a new toggle switch.UPDATE (October 2012): The toggle switch wasn't defective after all. But the bridge pickup was. It took installing a new toggle switch and rewiring the bridge pickup three times to figure that out. I ended up trashing the bridge pickup and replacing it with a Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P-90, which sounds absolutely incredible! I still play this guitar almost every day.

Fantastic guitar for the price

This is a fantastic guitar for the price. The fret work is some of the best I've ever seen, the nut is cut right, the neck feels super fast, the humbucker is smoking hot. The neck single coil tends to squeal a little, that's about the only complaint.Oh, and the strap buttons are Schaller strap lock buttons. If you already have the Schaller strap locks on your strap, the strap will snap right on.All in all, it's very well done for the price.

love this boot, looks great, wears comfortable. many compliments. does run 1/2 size smaller than what i normally wear, but i had read this before i ordered and ordered accordingly. would recommend this boot.

OMG Just got my boots today WoW .

The boots fit perfect do go a size up lady'sam a size 11 and I got a 12 but they don't look big.And I have room inside the boots to wear socks tooBut the best for me is the cute box I love the box theycame in so cute and they boots look like I spend $ 150.00.Halloween party here I come five star'sps: quick shipping

My boots split down the center.

I was saddened that I was only able to wear the boots one time to work. The seam that runs done the center of the boot from the top of my foot down to the toes split open. I did not send them back because I just did not want to spend the money. That would be a double whammy to me.

Exceptional, Beyond all expectation

Right out of the box, I was startled by the overall finish.It was flawless and really attractive. I was originally hopingfor a wider, flat C shape neck, but the playability of the neckjust gets better every time I pick it up. (don't misunderstand,the neck is in no way chunky or baseball bat like - just differentthan what I expected)Godin hit the motherload with the Jason Lollar P90s. I have Les Pauls with gibson P90s, and one with P-94s, and these Lollar 90sare a cut above, with a much wider range and incredible crunch.With 5 positions to switch and the option to use the active electronics (HDR)I have not been able to find a sound I dislike.The tone control sports an impressively wide sweep. Roll back thevolume pot from 10 to 8 or lower, and the clean sounds jump outwith impressive clarity. Those crazy Canadians really know theirguitars. If my finances improve, I would love to try another model.Lastly, when you consider how much upscale Gibson and PRS electrics cost, this guitar is a steal.
