Better than expected

I was fairly sceptical about this bag due to the super low price, the lack of info available on products using the X-Static insulation and lack of info available on the Asolo bags. Though their boots are top notch, their other gear seems to be hit or miss.For the reduced price, I thought that I would give it a shot.On a two night scout trip it dipped to 36 on the first night and was 46 the following night.My previous bag was rated as a 10 degree bag and was very bulky, but I froze one night in 30 degree temps, which is what prompted me to get another bag.This one was great. I woke up the second night sweating.For 40-50 degrees, I would recommend leaving the bag unzipped.Below that, it should be fine.Can't wait to try it in colder temps.Features are good: zipper is good, hood drawstring is good, and the bag was much longer than I expected. I am 6'1'' and it had lots of extra room in length.

Bag is too bulky for backpacking. For the discounted price it is worth using for car camping. Loose fabric around zipper tends to get caught.

Total Big Hair 80's super fuzz Ratt like balls to the wall metal! You could pay 5x as much and not get this cool sound. Don't expect to get a blues tube sound of it, that's not what it was made for. However it can be a great compliment to an all tube amp that just does have enough fuzz.

Biyang's Metal End Tone fancier is an aggressive sounding high gain distortion pedal.It has the usual controls for level, gain, high, low, mid, and mid freq scoop that you expect in a heavy-metal stompbox. But there are also four switches that give additional tone options:Amp simulator- this adds a little sustain on the decay of the notesModern, normal, classic- the modern has less compression and more lower end than the normal and the classic has more mids and less bass than the normal.The high cut- unlike the amp simulator this is off when the switch is up and on when it's down.Normal, bright, warm- the bright is bassy with a noticeable bump in volume, the warm is a volume cut with more compression.My favorite setting is the modern with the simulator on because it sounds very open and amp like. I have a few pedals at this price point; Joyo Us Dream, Moen Violent Metal, Boss Mega Distortion, and the Biyang Metal End stacks up very well.

Excellent - But a little low

I got this to mount my RMR on my AR (actually M-4) which has an ACOG as a primary sight. This is beautifully made (like all Trijicon stuff) and it tucks the RMR (when used as a secondary sight) to the right or the left of the horizontal axis, letting the soldier do a quick "rollover" , which is really a few degree roll to the side to access close range dot / speed optics without breaking cheekweld. It puts the RMR out of the way on the side, but it is a little low - here is why:The RMR is primarily a two eye sight. Both eyes look at the target and the dot is superimposed by your brain over the target. You just look, and then pull the trigger. There is no "thinking" involved. It is like a golf swing - you just do it. And it is fast; gunfight fast! which is especially important in urban or interior combat. The problem is, that this offset adapter is a little low. The same design that tucks it out of the way also puts it too low - so when you are using it your non primary eye is partially blocked from seeing the target area by the ACOG or other optic serving as the primary sight. That means the, "two eye" instinctive target view, that makes the RMR work so fast, is not perfect - it has got an ACOG sticking partially into the visual of the target area. This slows everything down and could cause you to come in in second place in your next gunfight. nobody wants that!I really liked the way this is made and designed - and perhaps it is just too low for my setup (Daniel Defense light 12" rail and ACOG at about 2.6" over bore). I found a Weaver offset mount that is not as beautufully built (but still well made) that puts the RMR a little higher offering a better two eye target view. This is the gold standard RMR mount - but check the fit first!

Great flashlight - nice and bright but poor high/low switch

This is a good quality flashlight with a nice bright spot beam but with enough spread to give the user a nice glow in the immediate area.There is a 'jumper' located in the back of the spot head which you can use to adjust the brightness level between low and high, but you'll need a screw driver to get at it and switch it which, if you think of it, is really stupid engineering but I have seen a number of low profile switches on the internet that I can get to put into the back of the spot head and replace the jumper which will allow me to switch brightness levels without having to remove a plastic panel in the middle of the night with a Phillips screwdriver which I most likely won't have handy to begin with. I pretty much imagine that will void any warranty but if I have to grab the flashlight and chase after livestock in the middle of the night, I'm not going to have time to unscrew a plastic panel, fiddle with a tiny jumper, put it back together and then tend to the "emergency"... what were they thinking. Beyond that engineering "brilliance", the flashlight seems to be of a great quality and durability. I like the fact that I can have it mounted in the charging cradle by the door for instant - fully charged - use.2/1/12 follow-up:I've been using the flashlight now for 3 months on a daily basis and while I've not had an occasion to use it for more than 30 minutes at a time, it has performed flawlessly. I love the fact that I can grab it from the charging cradle mounted on the wall by the door and run. I had on one occasion used it on the roof to peer down the chimney while playing chimney sweep and when it slipped from my hands I cursed about a half dozen times before it landed on the cement patio easily 12 feet below. I was very, very pleased to find, upon retrieving it, that the flashlight not only worked but I really couldn't find a nick, a chip, a crack or a scratch on it. Bumping my review up by a star to 4. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the 'goofy' way one is expected to change the brightness from low to high and back.

Great dog bed

My husband and I bought this for our 180lb Newfoundland, and he LOVES it! Best dog bed that we have ever purchased and the waterproof liner is fantastic, along with a great denim cover. Sometimes I can't get the big beast off of it, he loves to lie on it and we have noticed less problems with his limping after getting him the bed. It is definitely more expensive than the cheap beds you can buy in the pet stores, but we were buying one of those every year...this looks like it is going to last our moose for as long as he needs it. Would DEFINITELY recommend this as a quality and value buy.

Nice and big pet bed

Our 93-lb Rottweiler/Shepherd dog is at the vet's this very moment because she needs surgery on her left hind leg. Her cranial cruciate ligament tore sometime in the past month or so. To prepare for her post-surgery recovery, the husband and I decided she'd need a bigger bed so she can stretch out while resting. We ordered this dog bed a week ago and it arrived two days ago. Very fast shipping for a bulky item. It took our dog almost a full day to get used to her new bed. There's nothing wrong with the bed. It's perfect. She just usually takes awhile to adjust to new things. The husband threw on a spare pillow and one of our fleece blankets, and she finally felt totally comfortable. We love that the bed is big and roomy. One of us, in fact, can snuggle with her if she wants to make room for us. I am glad we bought this bed.

I just received my two dog beds. I was extremely pleased with the delivery time. The beds came faster than I thought they would. The seller was very helpful with questions about which size bed would be good for my two large girls. We have two labs who weight 91 and 86 pounds. The larger dog just had surgery on her back leg and was in need of a firm bed. My dogs are 14 and 12 years old and sleep a lot. As soon as I took the beds out of the box, they laid down and went sound asleep. Would order from this company again. Very satisfied!!!

Great Mahjong Set

This is a really nice Mahjong set. My wife loves it! I have no complaints about the set. The Koi fish makes it look oriental. The tiles are lighter than I was expecting but are very durable. The carrying case is made of a nice heavy wood and the trays are too(much better than those plastic trays). I will buy from Yellow Mountain Imports again. I chose this set over the other American Mahjong sets because of the koi fish looked nicer than the other tile designs and the nice wood.

If you want to spend a little more money you should get this! The pictures on the tiles are brilliant, the Koi Fish are bright! The box is wooden and very sturdy. Used in a weekly group and a very popular set to use. The tiles have just the right "feel". A set that wll last a long time.

Every possible feature?!

The description states "designed to offer every possible feature for the adventurer/traveller." Really? How in the world do you design such a backpack without a single thought to hydration? C'mon... there's actually TWO backpacks in one, and NEITHER one has a simple zipper pouch and hole for a hydration bladder OR it's drinking hose! What would it take? A zipper, and two 1 1/2" holes; one each on either side of the top carry strap (of either of the two packs,) to thread the hose through. I don't get it. Besides, in the absence of the bladder compartment, you'd expect at least a water bottle holder on either or both of the side straps, NO?

Beautiful and unique

This arrived super-quick and came with a wonderful, hand-crafted card/envelope that described the making of the duvet and the history of the company.The duvet is 100% cotton, very soft, and brilliantly colored. Its unique print is gorgeous and ethnic-inspired... I've never seen a similar pattern (maybe the benefit of it being hand stamped?!). The buttons are much better than other duvets with snaps or no closure. The reverse side is a vanilla color with a burgundy scroll pattern, and will offer another option when I want to flip it and change up the look of our bedroom.The colors and patterns are also versatile and appeal to both myself and my fiance. The scrollwork (on the reverse) are pretty and feminine, but the elephants and dark colors are masculine.Very happy with my purchase. While it WAS pricey and more than I would usually pay, it was worth it for the hand-crafted and unique piece.

I don't normally write review, but this item is definitely different from what we expect from looking at the picture. It is much lighter, more like a dull walnut color, without the shining glow. The bottom shelf does not match the console table color and is much darker. Overall it's not as elegant as in the picture.

Beautiful console table

We are so pleased with this lovely console table. The wood is a little lighter in color than the picture shows, but we actually like it better. The packing was so well done that it took half an hour to unpack then putting it together was easy. The table top and bottom shelf are perfect places to display treasures. We have received so many compliments on this classic accent for our entryway; our friends and family are amazed when they discover what we paid for this expensive looking table.

This table is gorgeous. It looks way more expensive than the purchase price. The detail on the top gives it kind of an antique look. It was very easy to assemble, just screw the legs on. I would have liked the color to be a little darker, but it still goes well with my other pieces. It would have been great if they had put a drawer in it. Overall, a really nice table-looks fantastic in my living room.

The greatest acoustic guitar pickup ever!

I have installed the Anthem on a number of customer instruments, and I am always amazed by the result. The Anthem has the rare ability to not sound like a guitar pickup--it actually sounds like a louder version of each guitar's own sound. Other pickup systems tend to give an approximate facsimile of acoustic guitar sound run through a pickup system and preamp, but the Anthem neither adds nor subtracts anything from the guitar's sound. It won't make a beginner guitar sound like a Taylor, but it will make a Taylor sound exactly the same whether unplugged or on a stage through a PA or amplifier at full volume.As I said, it is the greatest acoustic guitar pickup ever. I cannot in good conscience recommend anything else.

WOW...AMAZING and Great service

I consider myself an intermediate level guitar player. Small lead breaks, mostly rhythm, on my acoustic. I began to play out more and needed the ability to play through a PA system. I was on the fence of either buying a $3000 guitar with onboard electronics, or an under the saddle pic up for my acoustic. I purchased an incredible breedlove a few years ago for around $1000...and I would compare it to other guitars 3 times as expensive and my guitar always came out on top, compared to action, and tone. I opted for this pickup instead of a new guitar and couldn't be happier. I get complements all the time about how amazing my guitar sounds plugged in, and I'm quick to point out it's really just my guitar, nothing special. Yet this combo pickup has made all the difference. Since my purchase Breedlove has began shipping this pickup on all of their newer high end guitars, which I consider to be an amazing decision.I opted for the upgraded Anthem to have the ability to do my own adjustments, which I would recommend if you're playing with a group or through a variety of PA systems. The ability to adjust it according to the venue/stage mix has proved very beneficial. It has enough power to cut through any mix.Having had this pickup for about a year, my input jack began to stick. It was difficulty to remove or insert my 1/4 guitar cable. I called LR Baggs, and they were top notch professional. The gentlemen I spoke with said they stand by their product and that they had never heard of this issue, but that regardless they would send a new input jack so I could replace mine, free of charge. Great customer service and I value the way they stood by their product. I would recommend them to anyone for sure, and certainly wouldn't hesitate installing this on any guitar, no matter how cheap or expensive...your guitar sound is exactly what you get.

Electrifying old Acoustic Guitars

This is a fantastic product. I had it installed on a nice 32 year old Yamaha FG-150 and it sounds about as good as an ES based Taylor. It combines a nice balance between an interal microphone and a saddle mounted transducer - And, retains the nice original Acoustic sound when not plugged in - actually hard to physically see it on the Guitar unless you look very close at the sound hole. Thanks LR Baggs, I think you have the best non-electric Acoustic Guitar electrifying add-on.
