What would a Tele bridge pickup sound like if it had the same EQ as a vintage PAF? If you're a Tele player and you think this is an interesting question, here's the answer: it's the DiMarzio DP421 Area Hot T Tele Bridge Pickup. Because it has the classic Tele 6-magnet configuration, it's not simply a PAF reduced to Tele size. The sound is more detailed and controlled. The plain strings both sing and sting, and the wound strings have a dynamic quality that's halfway between a humbucker and a P90. The Area Hot T Bridge uses Alnico 2 magnets like other Area models, and works well with either 250K or 500K controls.Recommended For: Standard Tele bridge position.Tech Talk: Like the Area T, the Area Hot T Bridge has outstanding dynamic range, and it responds instantly to changes in pick attack and volume. It's also very sensitive to string distance. The volume is high when the pickup is close to the strings, but can be reduced by backing the Area T Bridge away. String pull is not a problem with the same Alnico 2 magnets that are standard on the Area T. 250K is the recommended control value, but higher values like 500K all around or a 250K volume and the 1 Megohm EP1202 can add some twang to the basic tone.

Problem Solver

I have a Fender Custom Shop Light Relic Tele, and as much I love the guitar and hate to modify it in terms of resale value, I bought it for the specs, feel, and to play it, not sit there and look at it. It suffers from the usual Fender tele pickup problems, whether they are 'vintage' types or not - mainly too bright, too thin, and too low output when moving around against humbuckers in Les Pauls, etc. Makes it difficult to dial in a variety of sounds if the instruments have absolutely nothing in common.SO - I bit the bullet on this pickup, having had previous experience with Dimarzio's for many years, them being after all among the first in this aftermarket business in the late 70's. Always preferred them over the Duncan's - Duncan's never seem to sound like the guitar they are attached to - being to brittle and unbalanced sounding and lacking detail - very mass produced (to me).With a sigh of relief, I find I really like this pickup. It does sound a little different than the stock, but in all the right ways if you want to use overdrive on the treble pickup. It is warm and focused, has great detail for purists, nice output without that spikey treble, and handles clean sounds as well as more agressive rock and blues sounds. It is absolutely noiseless, and does to me continue to transmit the 'Telecaster' character of my instrument, unlike the comments by a previous reviewer.Recommended...

Area T Bridge pickup

This is a great pickup. Easy install, plenty hot, and if you just HAVE to twang, cut all the mids and most of the bass on your amp and twang away!Its sensitivity to string height is a bonus. You can raise it to really drive the amp or lower it for a cleaner (and slightly quieter) sound.

Better than expected....

I was concerned this might be too hot for my tele, but not so. I found it to be as near a perfect combination of a standard single tele pickup and a medium hot PAF as you could get. May not be the best of both worlds, but it sure is good at both. I wanted something a little more HB like in the bridge but not completely lose the tele sound at low gain volumes and I think this achieved what I was looking for. I tried several other similar HB tele pickups but this one best married the single coil tele with the more aggressive and quiet HB tones.

Best Running Shoes I have ever tried

I work out everyday. My workouts include the treadmill, stairclimber, spin bikes, and weights. I also do triathlons. These shoes accomodate all of that. I am on my third pair of Adidas Supernova Glides. These shoes are comfortable from day one to the day you buy a new pair. They have a little bit higher heal that pushes you forward when you run. The toebox is wide enough so that your toes aren't crunched and I love the extra reinforced big toe (my big toe tends to rip through the mesh, but I have never had that problem with these.) I don't have very high arches and the arch support in these is perfect. I have worn nike shoes before and am in pain because the arches are too high. These are perfect if you have a lower arch. When you go into the shoe store to buy a new pair of running shoes try these on then try on a different pair of running shoes. You will be able to feel the difference. I absolutely love these shoes and I am getting ready to buy my fourth pair.

Good Safe

This is a very good safe that is both attractive and functional. We use it to store our GPS, Camera, XD Sub-Compact Pistol and gun clip. You must bolt down the safe to a wall and/or floor stud if you want to make sure that it is less likely to be stolen. I added a thin rubber mat material to the shelf and floor of the safe as well as a small battery operated motion sensor light inside the safe. Looks great.

Looks great with white pillowcases

I usually buy a higher thread count if I can, and the sheets are heavier and last forever, but the color on this one looked so great I thought I'd try it. Sheets are soft and pretty. Especially nice for summer. I haven't used the pillowcases yet, just the sheets, with white pillowcases, and my Trina Turk Wave Comforter Set. I got mine when it was on sale for much less.These sheets are a yellowish-green. I'd describe them as a cool color, rather than a warm one like avocado or sage.I bought a green throw pillow from pier one and the Bitter Green Heritage Afghan Throw Blanket 50" x 70" , which is a little dark, but still contrasts nicely, and it all looks great with these sheets. Would buy again, and would recommend.

I have the Amy Butler Sari Bloom duvet set and wanted to get the matching sheets. Unfortunately they are now out of stock! Thank goodness for Amazon, I was able to find a seller that had a brand new set for sale. The 400 TC organic cotton feels amazing and the colors are nice and bright even after washing. Definitely worth the price spent.

Good bulb... Lamp housing problem

I have a AW15 projector and after installing this lamp, there was a burning plastic smell during operation. I did not feel comfortable with the smell being produced (sometimes with new electronics, the first usage produces a plasic scent). This was more than just a scent. I proceeded to pull the lamp and compare it to my old burned out OEM lamp. The vents (screens) on the lamp were slightly different and offset. After realizing this, I transferred the bulb from my new lamp housing to my old lamp housing. I installed it and everything works great. It's been awhile with many hours of use and no issue. So long as you have the old lamp from your projector, it's very easy to swap out the bulb. All you need is a philips screwdriver and loosen 3 screws.

Excellent lamp - extended use

I obtained one of these (via Prolitex) a year ago and I am ordering another one even though the current one is still working. It has an incredible number of hours on it (over 4000 since we use our projector as a main TV, or just leave it on in the background) and it is only now, starting to dim a bit. Excellent life in my opinion and this is a better price and quality than the bare bulbs that I purchased before that would only last for 3-6 months, under the same conditions. This comes with the frame and is easy to install (don't forget to clean the filter once in a while).Excellent value for this product.

The perfect trash can

I never thought I'll LOVE a trash can, but there it is, it happened.It's the perfect size for kitchen use. The lid opens all the way with the step and the top is wide enough to easily dump your veggie left-overs from your cutting board without little chunks falling all over the place.It opens quietly and it CLOSES quietly (the lid doesn't just slam shut, but slowly closes).Seals well; no smell.Easy to clean stainless steel, no mold and other yucky stuff growing under the lid.Fitting any other kind of trash bag is actually not a problem - there's a little hole on the side of the removable inner can, which allows you to tuck in the excess of the bag and hold it tight from inside while putting the whole thing back together (this might not makes any sense until you see it).

LOOKS GREAT

This looks really nice, very functional. I actually got mine from Amazon.com as "good condition", "may be repackaged". for 89.99, it arrived new condition with 5 year warranty.As for trash bag liners, not a problem. Use your own and save the extra cash with buying "special trash bags from their company. I actually am using right now Save a Lot large plastic grocery bags for my liners. Their is a hole in the back of the red trash can to thread trash bags through to tighten them. The side of the grocery bags tuck in to the black bin located in the red can, a few seconds of effort, and viola.... the top of trash can comes down perfect and no liner showing at all. Their is a review on here that says that regular trash can liners don't fit, a couple of seconds tucking them in, they all fit fine.Especially any white or black regular 13 gallon liners.It takes a few seconds for the lid to close after opening the bin with the pedal which is normal and not "15 minutes" like another reviewer complained about.And looks wonderful in your kitchen.

The lid doesn't close properly

This trash can is lovely. Everything about it is great, except the lid doesn't close properly, regardless of whether or not I am using the Simple Human trash can liners designed to work with this can.It rarely closes all the way - I usually have to push the lid down. When it does close all the way, sometimes it takes up to 20 minutes for the lid to shut completely. I'll walk out of the kitchen and suddenly 15 minutes later I'll hear it shut down.If the lid closed the way it's supposed to, then I'd give this 5 stars. For a garbage can, it really adds to the charm of my kitchen, but I wish it functioned as great as it looks, especially for the price.

Awesome toy

I was very lucky and found this at a Toys r us an hour away and they held it for me. The horse is a lot bigger than I thought. I do agree with others on how people are buying these and selling them for 3x more, as I only paid 54.99 for mine. I am very greatful for my luck and wish you all luck also. We have not opened it yet as its a christmas gift for my son. He's gonna love it!

Do Not Fall For Bullseye Price Gouging

I almost fell for this outrageous, Amazon included, price gouging for this toy. Yes, this particular Bullseye ("Toy Story Woody's Horse Bullseye") is hard to locate. My 5-year-old just had a birthday today and had been asking for this toy. In fact, she specifically asked, "All I want for my birthday is Bullseye!" Talk about pressure! Needless to say, the search was on.I had tried the most obvious place first: Toys R Us, but with no success. Everyone I spoke with there seemed to be under the impression TRU was no longer carrying the item. I looked everywhere and only found it online for a hefty price tag ranging from $98-376 on various sites. I had also found in online through a TRU website but a European site. In Ireland, they seemed to be the only store with it in stock, priced at 44 Euros. However, the shipping would have easily brought the price up to what Amazon is asking. Well, about at my wit's end, I called Thinkway, the manufacturer, and in spite of my empty-handed efforts in locating the toy, they reported that TRU was indeed still receiving the item.After shamefully telling my daughter that we would have to wait some time before getting our hands on the toy, I began making arrangements to get her something else when, low and behold, I decided to try TRU one last time. I called every store in my area--as I had done numerous times before--and after being told by one store that another DID have the item, I called and had to practically threaten staff that I knew it was there and I was coming to get it and if they didn't have it, I wanted to speak with the manager. Miraculously, after waiting on hold for several moments, a young man who had swore to me they were no longer carrying it, just moments before, revealed that Bullseye was sitting on the shelf. I drove an hour, picked it up and it was EXACTLY the same one they are advertising here (interactive, "Over 20 horse sounds," certificate of authenticity, and all) but for $54.99!!I suggest taking your time. Start looking weeks before you need it. Call around relentlessly. And, DON'T pay more than you should for this. Like another customer said, "Amazon should be ashamed" for what they are allowing this item to be sold for, especially in this economy!Shame on you, Amazon!!

This product is everything I hoped for. It was a snap to pair with my cell phone. The clarity is outstanding and I much prefer it to hanging one of those blue tooths to my ear. It's like having the caller in the car with you.My only very slight disappointment is that I cannot use voice commands to make a call as my Shadow 2 cell phone will not sync with it. The other thing is the charger. It's not an AC charger and the USB cable for the car charger that it comes with is only a few inches long and the unit does not indicate when it is fully charged. Very inconvenient. Their customer service department is only available to you after you register the product online.Other than that the performance of the product is great and I would highly recommend this unit.

I just got this for Christmas and I really love it. It was simple to sync up with my Iphone and is so easy to use. I agree with the other poster that the charger is only a few inches long which is inconvenient a bit, but other than that I really think it is a great product.

Excellent case

Overall this has been a really good purchase. It has great Lian Li quality with a high-quality aluminum build. Unfortunately this means that it is not as sturdy as steel cases (e.g. my previous chassis, the FD Define R3) but it is much lighter. I move my case around quite a bit and this has been lifesaving.The window is phenomenal and gives an excellent view of the case. Cooling is good once the secondary 140mm fan is installed on top. The hard drive mounting system isn't great, but it does a really good job at preventing vibrations. The dust filters work wonders as well.The case comes with a replaceable front panel (surprised that this is a rarity) so that you can buy a new IO panel once USB4.0 or ESATA 2.0 comes out and you do not have to replace the case. One thing that's kinda weird is that the front fan is screwed in really tight and it took quite some force to loosen it up. I guess they overtightened at the factory.To wrap things up. It's a great chassis. Looks very professional and classy. Highly recommended.

good looking case

Bought it from Amazon, got it in 3 days. It is all there. I am just about done buying the rest of the parts to put the box together, should be built in about a week. I have had Lian Li before, I like most of their cases. This one looks good, is a good size for ATX and I think it should do well with thermals. It may not be the best for an overclocking 3 or 4 GPU build but I did not get it for that. happy with the purchase.

Looks great , good quality , so-so functionality.

First off let me say that i used this case for my very first build and am over all pleased with this chassis. Of course the lian li quality was what sold me in the end but i have to say i was a little dissappointed in some aspects of the build quality. The hdd rack and trays seem to me a little on the cheep side. They just seem to be made out of really thin metal and the slide locking mechanism on the hdd rack hasn't worked right from the get go. Also a big complaint i have is the side panels are a little too intricate to be taking on and off with any frequency. They both, front and back, are the type that you align tabs in the slots along the top and bottom of the case and then slide the panel from Back to front and then secure with two thumb screws. It does work as it is designed but requires more effort than i wanted. If you are, like me , one who constantly tinkers around inside your case then i would pass this case by. Regarding the panel design, the back panel is a bear to get back on after routing all the cables behind the mobo tray. It takes some serious forethought in cable management to get it so the panel will fit back on but it can be done. Not real happy with the IO connections on top of the case but that seems to be the design trend these days with a lot of the newer cases. Easy fix though, so no big deal.You would think having said all that, i would be unhappy with the case but actually i am not. I love the way it looks. The brushed aluminum Looks great in black and with the window, it's great to see my first build all lit up. (I added a pair of blue cold cathode's). So i guess you could say that once you finish building in this case and if you leave it alone It looks great and should last a lifetime, but i don't look forward to any major upgrading with this case. In fact i think I will keep it UNTIL that major upgrade but will more than likely upgrade the case as well, to something a little more functional. This would make a great case for someone that just used their computer and never cracked the case.So, the case is well made,Looks fantastic and should last a very long time. Its just not the case i needed but thats ok. Live and learn.

High quality screen was very easy to install. It came packaged well and pretty quickly too. This is a much more inexpensive route then going through ASUS or any repair store.

Beautiful, nice people.

I purchased this bedspread and a window panel to put in my bedroom doorway, since I needed to take out the door. Both are quite pretty. the colors are darker than in the photo, but still look nice, not garish. The fabric is pretty coarse, but this is typical. I haven't washed them yet, so I don't know about shrinkage. I will definitely wash in cold water and low temp dryer (or perhaps no dryer. I think this is what they suggest.) Also, people seem quite nice.
