Warm for Winter

Got this for my husband and he loves it. We went to the store and tried it on first before ordering from amazon. (Better price!) My husband has broad shoulders so we had to go for the XL instead of the L so there's a little extra room in the midsection so keep that in mind. He says that it's very warm this surprisingly snowy winter. So far the temperature range we've gone down to is ~25F so not sure how well it does below that. Overall great quality!

Great for snowy/windy conditions

I have used this jacket once on a snowboarding trip so take it for what you will.I used this jacket at Sunrise, AZ a few days ago, and temperatures were around 25F at the base and probably more like 15F at the top. This jacket kept me warm the entire time. We experienced heavy winds (especially on the ski lift) and pelting snow. My face stung like crazy and was numb because I didn't have a mask, but my body was kept nice and warm. The jacket is also very waterproof, considering that I fell many times, and I was being snowed on for several hours at a time.I see that there are many reviews saying the hood is not secured very well, but I didn't find that to be a problem. I didn't experience the hood detaching from the jacket at any point, and it felt snug and secure. It was a little difficult to get on because I was wearing a beanie and had my goggles, but once it was on, it was very snug and warm. The nice thing also is that it covers up the face pretty well too.My only complaint is that I wish the detachable fleece jacket was a little longer. Right now it sits kind of short on me if I wear only that. This makes me hesitant to wear just the fleece jacket out in public, because if I lift my arms or anything, the jacket will raise up and my belly will show. However, this isn't a huge deal and is something that most people will be able to live with. The overall jacket itself is a good fit, and while there is no powder skirt, the bungee cinches at the bottom of the jacket and helps a little in keeping the snow out when you fall.I would definitely recommend at this price ($122 w/ free shipping). It is highly effective, fits well, and is fairly fashionable as well.

The Parka is well made. The workmanship quality is outstanding.The Parka is extremely warm during the cold weather. The only comment that I have is the fit of the hood - this leaves a little to be desired. Columbia should have put a little more effort into the design of the hood. Otherwise the Parka is an excellent choice for warmth.

Loved it but not enough

I liked the watch and had a hard time deciding if it was right for me. First of it was a bit to large for my wrist and I kept trying to justify it because I liked the look of the watch. It had class and made for conversation piece as others saw it. But in the end I just couldn't keep it because of the size. Otherwise a great time piece and cool look. 45 mm is just over my size. I went with a divers watch instead Seiko Monster Orange.

This watch rocks !!!

When I bought this watch I was not sure how it would look on the wrist but once I put it on -- oh yes -- it really looks very good, big, and unique as having its own characteristic look of airplane dials. I hope it lasts long as it was an expensive buy for me. I believe its design is way more worth than the actual price of this watch. One thing I did not like about the dial design was half cut 3, 6, 9 digits. I did not get the logic. If I was the designer of this watch I would have kept these digits as dots or markers instead of having them incomplete numbers. But if it was the case then this would have become a perfect watch for me. So instead of 5 stars I gave 4 stars.

All the features Dj's look for, at an affordable price!

I didn't hesitate purchasing the Numark Mixtrack. After coming acrossthe link on accident looking at other DJ products. I went to the Numarkwebsite and read more about this Dj Controller. I then went to Youtubeand watched a couple videos on it. I then came here to Amazon to purchaseit the same day after finding out about it.I've used a lot of Dj controllers before. At Parties, Clubs, Weddings ect.I always found the more expensive controllers to have the best features. Butwith the Mixtrack....I am proven wrong. This controller ranks up there with thebest in my opinion. When I compare this to great controllers like The VCI-300,The NS7, The Mixdeck, ect. You with this Dj controller can't go wrong. You'regetting a $150.00 Dj controller with all the features Dj's look for, at an affordableprice! With this you're getting a more real time djing feel. You're gettingnice Dj platters/jogwheels, effects, editing tools and a good program. This isa perfect tool to have on those days you dj a gig. But don't want to bring yourregular djing equipment. Also if your a beginner looking to learn the art ofbeing a Disk Jockey. This is the right product to learn on.With this controller, you would need to get an audio sound card. To be able tohear what your doing with headphones. Native Instruments the same company thatmakes the included Traktor program. Has a sound card called the Audio2Dj and Numark has the DjIo Sound card. Numark has also came out with the IDJ3 which is a similar controller. But it has an Ipoddock, and has a built in headphone jack and mic output. The IDJ3 cost $300 but has all of the same great features as the Mixtrack. So to end this, I recommend the Numark Mixtrack to everyone that wants to either learn, entertain ect. A very great Dj Midi Controller for an even more amazing price!

Probably exactly what you'd expect for $150

The Numark Mixtrack is definently what it says it is. It's a responsive, light, compact controller with some pretty amazing effects. I bought this to be able to DJ shows without having to carry 3 crates of records and turntables with me. While the two decks do act as turntables, the scratch sounds very computerized and the response is off. You have to watch your PC screen to keep track of where you're at in the cut. It is very light, very portable, and pretty responsive. It is plastic, so if you want the professional feel, you won't get it. If you want portable, this is for you. A couple of issues... You'll need a separate soundcard to be able to monitor your cue. This is in the price range of about $90+. And the version of Traktor that comes with it is the light edition which is very basic. The pitch is only +/-8%. I was hoping to be able to make that much more but in the light edition of Traktor that's all thats available. You'll have to upgrade to pro. All in all, this is most definitly worth $150. Just don't expect for it to change your DJ game. If you're looking into getting into DJing, I would suggest just getting PCDJ or another program that you can use a keyboard as the controller. Its easier to control at first and you'll see if you have the ear to mix. If you're looking to go portable, match this with a external soundcard and you, sir, are set.

Small, compact, lightweight. . .SO MUCH MORE FOR THE PRICE!

I bought this for practicing my sets in my room, or where ever I can. That, and I wanted to venture into Native Instruments territory (I use Serato).Build Quality - I wish there was more metal parts (like a heavy mtal plate for the bottom), but it doesn't matter becasue it is light weight, and I can retrofit (hack) a metal plate of my choosing. . .but that'll be later. The buttons are responsive. With Traktor LE, it works flawlessly (packaged with it). I've had no issues with it, and I was fairly impressed with the build quality (being that it's ALL plastic).My only concerns are pretty small:1) The Faders.Over time, thy may get too wobbly, but I'm pretty sure there will be some after market parts (Innofader?) to replace these. Or I may just replace them (line faders) myself with smoother ones.2) Conencted USB.This is the part where I don't agree with it. I hack a replacement so I can simply remove the USB cord. But really, it's not a deal breaker.Price - How can you say no? $150 (no sound card). Rumors show that Numark and Native Instruments may put together a package with a sound card. If you don't want to wait (like I did), you may want to pick up either a Numark StereoIO (roughly $35-$40 ), or spend the good quality on a Native Instruments Audio 2 DJ ($100). I got the latter and the output is great. And with Traktor LE being from NI, Set-up is a FRIGGIN breeze.If you looking to get started, or want something to just mess around with, don't even hesitate on this!***UPDATE on OCt 4, 2010***Numark has just announced a MixTrack Pro for $250. . .This time it includes a soundcard built in, and has a detachable USB cord. . . .At least Numark is now listening!

Great tire

I bought the Metzler as a replacement for the stock tires on my Street Glide. The difference was immediately noticable. The ride was smoother and I felt the tire was much more responsive than the stock ones. I live in NY and ride my bike year round and I have found these tires to be a great addition in all types of weather. A+ rating!

True Time Piece

This is my second Torgoen and so far the best one. This is a true beauty of a watch. Taprite has the most remarkable customer service!

I recieved this from Amazon but it only had one hose. I called and they sent me the additional part. The problem is they sent me another tap with one hose. Amazon said they'd have to remove the product from their roster until they can find out why the taps only had one hose. I couldn't wait any longer so I called Taprite directly. They immediately realized that Amazon was sending an "01" instead of "04". The represtentive offered to make one for me (because they didn't have on available), it took longer than expected because when they tested the one they made for me, it wasn't up to their standards. They even offered to send me a different tap to tide me over until the better part came in. When I recieved the 4 Tap it was perfect and a great hit at the parties!Brandy was my contact person and I cannot say enough good things about her and Taprite!

Take Caution buying a Refurb

My issues with this router stem not so much from the quality of the router itself (it's actually very good when it's working properly), but rather with how little effort Cisco/Linksys put into "refurbishing" their products. From my experience, Cisco's/Linksys' quality assurance standards are so astoundingly low that they have no qualms about sending you a bricked router as was what happened in my case (more on this after my review).For the time being, I will disregard my gripes with the company and focus solely on the router. Once the E3000 is actually set up, it is a very nice, very easy to use device as anyone who has bought one of Linksys/Cisco's other routers can confirm. For the week or so that I have owned this router (after getting it to work), I've not encountered any issues with connecting wireless devices to it nor have I had any connectivity issues (dropped/slow/weak connections).Now onto my issues with Cisco/Linksys and why you should be careful buying a refurbished router from them:As you may have inferred from my (unsubtle) hints above, setting up the router can either be incredibly easy or a complete nightmare. For me, my experience falls under the latter as I was sent a bricked router. After having set up my router, I turned it on for the first time and found that not only was I not connected to the internet, the router was unresponsive except the power LED was blinking. After a google search, I found that this was due to a corrupted firmware (bricked router) and I ended up having to manually restore the router's firmware. For those considering to buy this router refurbished, please be aware that Cisco/Linksys evidently do not check that their refurbished routers actually work before sending them out the door. In fact, I don't even know if mine was even inspected considering the fact that my router:A) Did not work when I got itB) Had signs of physical damage (there is a stain visible on the case that looks like someone spilled coffee on it)C) Didn't even come with a functioning software CD (my disk drive couldn't read it despite it being able to read every other disk I tried)Literally, the only thing I got with this router that worked properly out of the box was the AC adapter.For those of you who do not feel like reading all of that:PROS: Easy to use; good connectivity between wired/wireless clients; has been reliable (after my initial set up).CONS: Cisco/Linksys may send you a bricked and/or physically damaged router.My advice for buying refurbished merchandise from Cisco/Linksys is: BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN BUYING REFURBISHED. Quality assurance means nothing to this company. I sent a polite email about my issues shortly after I got my router and Cisco/Linksys have yet to respond, which tells me that they don't actually care about their customers' issues.P.S.For those of you who will buy this router anyway, the chances are probably slim that what happened to me will happen to you as well. However, in case you do get a bricked router, you can do Linksys/Cisco's job for them the way I did and unbrick the router by doing the following:Activate the Windows TFTP clientIt's already enabled in XP, but if you have Vista/Windows 7, do the following:1) go to start2) in the search bar, type "windows features" without quotes and hit enter3) Scroll down until you see "TFTP Client" and make sure there is a check inthe box next to it.4) Hit OKand afterwards go here for step by step instruction on how to fix the router:[...]

Can't trust Cisco to refurb them properly

Just bought a refurbished E3000 wireless router. It was pretty impressive - easy to use, easy to configure, and seemed to have great range. Ten minutes later, however, it was giving me the blinking power LED - meaning it was having a major problem.I spent the next two hours with Cisco Support in India trying to convince them that it didn't matter if I was using AT&T or Verizon for my ISP - their own web site indicated a flashing power LED meant a defective router. They eventually agreed to replace it - a process that will take a couple of weeks.Usually, when a company has a large enough inventory of refurbished devices to sell them retail, there's a fundamental problem with the hardware. I suggest staying away from the refurbished version - and perhaps even the new product.

Configuration shortcoming

This router does not allow "Channel Bonding" at 2.4GHz only at 5GHz. Therefore, 300Mbps speed CAN NOT be achieved at 2.4GHz. "Customer Support" rerouts you to a "pay for answer site"; answer from here is worthless as well.

Works like a charm!

We bought this because the cover that came with our pool tore in the first attempt to put it on. THIS COVER was easy to use once we got the base of the cover on initially. It took a couple of us working together to get it on the first time. It zips close so it stays on the pool all of the time which is why it works so well for one person to manage after the first install.Bottom line: it kept the pool clean and wasn't a hassle to use.

Great Boot...not built to last

I have not reviewed many things but I have to say this is the lightest most comfortable boot I have ever worn. Purchased it due to the look of their other lines and figured I could always return it if it wasn't good. After I put this boot on I knew that there was no chance of return. The back dips down for comfort and movement. I have a narrower foot and they fit great. I only hope they are in fact waterproof. One other thing that I noticed right away was the fact that the tread on the boot is a little different. its like little "nubbies" instead of a "tread" I'm not sure ow this will be with mud but on all other surfaces seems to be just as good. 2/9/13--I am still wearing the boot but it has been home repaired with epoxy! Glad it is a work boot. I have had to return this boot 3 times due to the leather and seems ripping. It was great that wolverine stood behind it but I shouldn't have gone through 3 pairs in a year or so!

Great ALL-TERRAIN BOOTS!

I bought this boots, mainly for the look and the functionality!These boots not only look so good, but they also are super comfortable, I used to have some CAT boots, and they were not half of the comfort I feel with these boots. I feel that I can step on anything, and that my feet will be safe. I got my first cushe last year, and these is the second pair I get, I love this brand, great fit, great look, great comfort!

needed sturdy ankle support

Recently, I dislocated my ankle after a fibula fracture and post accident.....about 16 weeks later and a pemanent screw in my leg, went shopping online for sturdy walking/hiking shoes...after much looking and comparing settled on these. Product delivered just like the picture and are comfortable and feel sure footed walking around while my ligaments are still healing from a very traumatic ankle sprain. I expect these to last several years but even if I decided to do some heavy mileage trekking these could do the job. Didn't want to spend a couple hundred dollars on serious hikers, either. Good value unless you're particularly hard on shoes. These fit my semi-serious needs.

gorgeous, top-of-the-line, quality leather. classy

I did a lot of shopping and this is probably about the most expensive bag out there. I could not fit my Lenovo G770 17.3" inch monitor in the inner sleeve and then in the bag so i don't use the inner sleeve. no loss.I don't think Gucci makes a bag like this but you could probably slap a Gucci label on it and charge $1000 more.

So far so good, except the handle

I like the case itself. I'm actually able to store quite a bit in it beyond my laptop. It's well made and the finish looks great after several months of daily use.The telescoping handle is giving me problems. It no longer slides freely, I have to work to pull it up and retract it again. I've thought about treating it with something but everything I can think of would potentially rub off on clothing or the case, so have done nothing to it yet - and it gets a little stickier every day. Will contact the manufacturer to see what they suggest. There is probably something I can do.Otherwise, excellent case for the price. It really is lovely and I receive lots of compliments on it.

Excelent Bag

Being female I wanted a bag that was professional but not too masculine. Many of the women's bags were too small to be really functional and many of the other rolling bags were too functional and didn't have any style. This bag is a nice balance between functionality and style. I purchased the bag in January and having traveled with it many times now I can say it has performed very well. It expands out and held my computer and all my books & reports in addition to a 2-inch binder. The compact/zipped in size is perfect for just the short trips that don't require a lot of paperwork. The computer case is very secure and there is plenty of pockets and organization options. It comes with a cover that hides in the rolling devise so when I traveled to Seattle in the rain/snow I didn't worry about damaging the very attractive leather. You can even un-clip the rolling portion and carry it as a shoulder bag if you were so inclined. I actually had several strangers (both men and women) comment on how attractive the bag is. I think that this is a wonderful bag and would recommend it.

missed expectations

I purchased this vac together with the Bosch 1773AK 5-Inch Concrete Surfacing Grinder, extra hose, and a hose adapter. I was looking for a self-cleaning vac with a tool switch in order to increase productivity for my DIY sanding and grinding. To be clear: I am not a contractor, I just happen to be a tool affectionado, and I don't mind a high price if I could save myself some time as a result.So, I had some gypsum wall patching to sand at my home, and two small concrete pads to clean from the old paint and mortar droppings. The idea seems wonderful: the operation of the grinder would switch the vac on and off and the vac would electrostatically clean its filters during the breaks, when the tool does not operate. How come all vacs on the market are not designed like that?So instead of a separate $18 Craftsman Auto Switch (Item# 00924031000) and the $40 Oneida Molded DIY Dust Deputy Cyclone to attach to my shop vac (which would probably give it a similar functionality), I decided to get this $536 vacuum, hoping that Bosch engineers designing this tool might actually anticipated what a contractor or DIY may need, and I would get a complete all-in-one solution as a result.Well, what a disappointment it turned out to be! The vac runs the pulse-cleaning mode with a startling DOO-DOO-DOO sound, but the filters after such cleaning operation are still full of dust. Tried several times, still no results. However, the sucking efficiency drops much slower than in my old vac (probably because the aggregate filter area is larger and the motor is twice as powerful).Anyway, dust clouds ruined my living room at some point, so, I had to go back to the old routine: washing filters several times a day with a strong stream of water from a garden hose for several minutes, and attempting to dry them afterwards. Is it much improvement for $535.99? I don't see much difference.Also, apart from this main issue, there are several minor disappointments: the bond between a hose and its connector comes apart easily, and it's a hassle screwing it together every now and then. The front wheels of the main vac unit (which is quite heavy) are too small to negotiate a smallest obstruction (on a flat ceramic tile floor), so whenever a power cord gets in the way (which is very often), the vac needs to be dragged forcefully, separating the hose and cable connections. The the 6Amp vac is designed to drain juice from the same receptable as the 10Amp tool which is connected to it, occasionally tripping a 20Amp pole breaker.Suggestions for Bosch engineers: work out the self-cleaning issue (perhaps with a counterblast of air?), get better swivel hose connectors, provide much larger wheels, separate tool and vac circuits (a remote switch would be nice to avoid dragging one more power extension). And perhaps go in the field and get dirty once in a while to better understand the needs of someone who may be using your equipment.Also, it's seems like a rip-off, the $536 vac doesn't come with the nozzles. Basket (VAC014), nozzles and wand (VAC011) are optional and cost extra $85.

Nice Vac with Shortcomings

This thing is solidly built and powerful. Generally pleased - much nicer than the old Wet/Dry Vac that it replaced. Pretty quiet, although not as quiet as the reviews indicated. The bags are nice and hold a lot. Have not used the automatic turn-on feature with power tools.Three nuisance problems:(1) It's fairly easy to move with the high handle, but still gets caught on cords. My solutions was to buy the 15M hose and leave the vac mostly in place.(2) The attachments are a little loose on the hose fitting. This is very minor.(3) The hose diameter is small - no more than 1.5 inches ID at the fitting. Clogs relatively easily by small slivers of wood when hooked to router table. Have to occasionally clear to maintain vacuum strength.More of a curiosity than a problem is that the hose tends to build up static when running continuously as dust collection for the router. After running a while the router shavings are attracted to the hose and stand out like fur, similar to iron filings on a magnet.None of the above are more than minor nuisances. Would buy it again.

Small diameter of connecting tube

I bought this vacuum for my garage and use it both to clean the place after working there and to minimize dust generation by connecting it to my tools.I like it very much and use it a lot.Overall this is a great product with just a few things not perfect, which gives it an overall 4 stars.What I like:* The plugging tool function and the available choice to use it or not (2 different settings).* The adjustable power* It moves around very easily, without effortWhat could be better:* Setting up the collection bag in it's chamber is a little bit of a delicate work. Could be more mindless.* The vacuum hose has a small diameter (similar to a household vacuum). Which makes it easy to plug into hand tools but requires adapters (not provided) for any stationary tool. Given its small size it was probably designed to be used only with hand tools and to have a full size shop vacuum for the stationary one.* There is no dedicated way to store on it the vacuum hose. It kind of holds by wrapping it around the handle bar but its not the most stable way.Anyway I recommend buying it and will buy it again if needed.
