The bright orange zipper makes it easy to open and securely close the pool, also it serves as a reminder to lock the pool while not in use. It forces the removal of the ladder and it takes less than 3 minutes to close the Secur-Net. The safety bladder serves two purposes, to prevent children from falling into the pool if they climb on the cover and to drain water off the pool cover to prevent water accumulation and possible danger of drowning on the cover. There's two parts to this cover, a bottom part that lays under the pool with straps to secure it to the top cover. So its best to set up this cover before putting water in the pool. However you can still secure the top cover to your pool without compromise, it will still be much safer than a conventional cover. It will be a tight fit first time putting it on so be patient.Once on its zips open and close making it easy to use and with the dome underneath it, 90% of the rain water runs off. I'm very happy with the product.
