I use this strictly as a wet/dry shop vac - and it works phenomenal

For further review see this forum discussion on the unit: Just copy the whole thing and replace the (DOT COM) with .com: [...]So basically it is quiet, powerful, built to last, strong, has an adjusting power gauge so you can put the power ranging from low to high. It has a power cord that is very thick and well built.And a power outlet built into the machine. And lastly it pulsates every 15 seconds to clear the filter.Really really nice!I also suggest before purchasing this (currently on Amazon listed at $487 downloading an app called Price Blink. It will search the internet for the cheapest price. I got it for $399 at toolking.com but they just upped the price to $440 after Christmas. It is still $47 cheaper than Amazon...I also purchased the shop vac accessories for $60. Comes with all the attachments and a Dewalt bag.If I ever get around to it I'll post a YouTube video with it in use. And update this review...There is a shortage of reviews on this product. That is why I suggested the dewalt forum above because it has a lot more info...

Exactly how does automatic filter clean work?

Automatic filter clean is a realtively new feature in shopvacs (generalized) - I first got it in a wap / alto 12 gal vac from germany which did a video of the vac using its normal filter to suck up an entire bag of portland cement without having to clean the filter. Automatic filter clean kicks in about every 30-60 seconds and you do loose about 50 percent of suction. There are two vane valves inside the filter element designed to periodically use the vac's motor to reverse the airflow of 1/2 of the filter and they alternate halves every time it does a 1 second clean cycle. During this time air is blown backwards through 1/2 of the circular filter pushing dirt that accumulates on it into the solid plastic bin. On the next cycle the other 1/2 of the circle gets blasted with clean air inside blowing dust of it's half into the bucket.Automatic filter cleaning is a great feature, but you will notice upon turnon your vac sounds like a thump thump - thats it cleaning both sides of the filter. While using it, you will notice it will periodically do a clean over long runs. This is normal for an auto filter clean vac. Suction on the pipe will be cut in 1/2 for a second then restore to better than full flow prior to the clean. This process continues until you turn off the vac.On the wap/alto 12 gal commercial they packed an entire 50 lb sac of portland cement into their self clean system - when they opened it up the filter was still white and the bottom was 50 lbs heavier. I use these types of vacs in my shops because they cut down human time to clean the filter which is a cost savings to me in the long run.

BEST dust collector I've seen!

This dust extractor is the best there is for what I need it for! I have it coupled to a dust deputy cyclone, using 2.5" hose to all my woodworking equipment. As soon as I received this item, I HAD to test it with my 13" planer. I put it on approx 1/4 the total suction it offers, I run the power strip with all the tools plugged to it through the vacuum plug with automatic on/off feature. It works SO good! The planer puts out some serious debris, and it has 36ft of hose between them, and it works flawlessly. The automatic filter clean option is quite loud, but I wouldn't be without it! The dust deputy consumes 95% of the debris, but with the filter clean feature, & the 12 gallon tub, it can go for quite a while. I have tried it on the highest available suction, and it will suck large nails at the planer connection hose that is 36ft away! Can't say enough good things about this tool!

Great shoe, bought two...but...

I'm impressed with the quality and fit of the Adidas Mundial Goal...with a couple exceptions. They run big and the suede flap on the front starts to peel on the ends. I initially bought a pair of Mundial Turf shoes for my son on the advice of his soccer coach. The turf shoes were very well made and really helped his heel pain. I then bought him these Mundial Goals for wearing off the field. They were nice enough that I bought myself a pair also. The kangaroo leather is possibly the nicest I've seen on a shoe. We've had Sambas for years, and these shoes are much nicer and more comfortable. They run at least a half size too big though, so order smaller. One big difference between these and the Mundial Turfs (other than the studded sole on the Turf) is that the Mundial Goal has a flap of suede that goes around the front of the shoe. This is a poor design and the ends of the flap started coming off quickly. The Mundial Turf has rubber on the front and is more durable. I was able to re-glue the flap easily using some silicon glue (liquid nails), and you can't detect the repair, but for the price and brand, I'd expect then to have a better design and not come apart. Other than that, it's a great shoe. The flap is the only reason for less than five stars.

RGB LED Strip = Awesome

I love flashing light things so this quickly caught my eye.I bought this strip to use as lighting effects for a few bands I play in. I paid for overnight shipping in my excitement and it has been well worth it so far. Another reason I was turned on too this particular RGB LED Strip setup was the individually addressable LED capability. Since the strip operates @ 5v, I have been experimenting with creating my own Atmel based Controller so I can real-time animation control and create my own color animations not generated by the included controller. The included controller does do a lot of different animations and effects, but for my needs a synchronized application is desired and very possible with the 5v IC logic.My only negative comment is one of the LED red elements burned out after only a few hours of use, and that's not constant use. The ICs drive the LEDs so there is no effect on the rest of the LEDs in the strip (which is great), but it does stand out like a sore thumb when the lights surrounding it are lit using Red.

Power supply sucks

It looked amazazing for about 5 minutes. The power supply for the light strip stopped working. It is DC 5 volt 5 amp output and now looking for a replacement. I can't seem to find the same one anywhere, and it is NOT the same as the product picture (perforated metal enclosure).UPDATE: I called LEDWholesalers directly and they were able to help pretty quickly in resolving the issue. Hopefully the new PS works well.

The best classical guitar I have seen at this price

I recently bought one of these to serve as an inexpensive "beach guitar" -- just something to take to the park or the beach and not worry too much about something bad happening to it. What an amazing guitar for the money! A very pretty guitar and it sounds very good for the money. It plays well, too. I don't know how consistent they are from guitar to guitar, but if other Valencia VG-50 guitars are as good as the one I bought, they are a tremendous deal at this price (about $210).[UPDATE: October 8, 2011]The price is currently $314. It's been going up fast and it's been "out of stock" since I reviewed it and linked to it from my site. I still like the guitar, but at this price it's no longer the hands-down winner for this class of guitar. At this price the Yamaha and Cordoba offerings can compete.[UPDATE: January 25, 2012]The price is currently $240.92. Very useful with second child on trips

I am very happy with product. It is nice material solid seat. My son is 30 lb and can easy sit there at 2 years old. The stroller still moves very easy with both of them there. My son 2 1/2 (30lbs) and daughter youngest 6 months (15 lbs).The stroller is good with kids with lighter weight but I don't think it is good with two heavier kids like two 2 years old. It still works but harder to move

very nice!

We think this guitar has a nice sound and nice classical look. Its sized at approx 31"x10.75x3.25", nut width 1.5", and scale length 19". It was smaller than the Lucida LK-2-1/4 Student Model Classical Guitar, 1/4 Size (approx 31"x11.75"x3.25") but larger than the Manolo uke guitar (30"x8.5"x 3, nut width 1/75", scale length 19"). It fits well in the Lanikai Baritone Ukulele Gig Bag.

1/4 Guitar

This guitar is perfect for a young child (especially if his Mommy or Daddy can tune it daily). The guitar is sturdy and the sound is good. The nylon strings easily loosen, though, so if you're looking for perfect sound, you're not going to have it. My grandson is a little over 2 years of age and his daddy is a guitarist, so he's been exposed to guitars for all his life. He loves "playing" his dad's guitars, but now that he has his own guitar and it is lightweight and sized for him, he carries it wherever he goes and "plays" it for anyone who will listen. He actually strums the guitar in time to the songs he sings and it sounds quite good. We all love it!

not the same guitar

I bought a Valencia 1/4 VG-160 several years ago. It is a nice-sounding, well made little guitar, made in Spain. I needed another for my students, so I ordered this one. The model name is the same, and I think some of the body parts might be the same, but the neck/head are longer, the assembly work is sloppy, and the finish work is haphazard. It has the same label inside, but now has MADE IN CHINA on it. Not to say there aren't some good Chinese-made guitars out there, but this isn't it...yet. Hopefully these were the first this shop made, and they're getting better? The first one they sent had such poor assembly and finish work that I had to return it, the 2nd is better but still not nearly the quality of my older one. The sound is OK but not great; I will be putting high quality high-tension strings on it which should improve the sound so I can make a proper comparison with the older one. I gave it 3 stars because it is playable, and is a good starter instrument for small students, if you can get one that is put together and finished properly. Playable guitars in this size are rare, and if the assembly and finish were were consistently good this would be a 5 star instrument. This guitar was backordered several months before I finally got it in late December of 2011. Perhaps they sold out of the Spanish-made ones, and just started making them in China? Note that the current version of this instrument is a few inches longer than the older one (does NOT fit in a 1/4 size guitar bag or baritone uke case as the old one does, both the guitars they sent in December 2011 were the same length and did not fit in the cases I have for 1/4 size guitars, so I am using a 1/2 size bag, which is too big but works OK).

Most pluck for the buck!!!!

This is a great find. I highly recommend this guitar! Fit and finish are excellent, the high gloss finish is beautiful and the selection of hardwoods used in its construction lets you know that you have a substantial instrument in you hands. After months of searching, this was the guitar for me. I was a little hesitant after the poor descripton on the page and a bad review, but I took a leap of faith and it payed off.Beautiful treble notes and resonant bass response. On board electronics work weell and I am impressed with the quality of the tuner. This guitar is concert quality for a great price. It comes with thicker diameter strings that my other classical guitar which really brings out the bass.My only complaint is the description of the product on Amazon. There needs to be more photos of the item and a better description of the features. Luckily, there are more features instead of less. I was pleasantly surprised and the double jack for the amplifier. It includes a three pin jack as well as the more common 1/4 inch one.I had to read another customer's review to even know that it had an onboard tuner in the electronics.Buy this guitar!! You will get a great value for the money and have a beautiful and versatile instrument for years to come!!

Probably just a defect but...

Absolutely beautiful guitar. I'm currently a student with my focus as Classical Guitar and I wanted an affordable starting guitar. Valencia makes amazing guitars so I highly recommend the brand.However, when my guitar came in, the neck was pretty seriously warped, the on-board tuner and input was not working and a month after the purchase, a piece inside the tuning peg snapped. As someone who is not fond of bitching and complaining about stuff, I'll get over it. I was just a little displeased since playing the guitar feels great and I'm really enjoying it despite feeling like it's going to explode if I look at it the wrong way. Still, again, highly recommend this brand. Very widely respected among classical guitarists. Mine was probably just a defect. :(

Beautiful surprise

My fiancé ;-) got me this beautiful ring as an early Valentine's day present and it's gorgeous, just what I wished for. Not too big but not too small either. The design is unique, loooveee the details on the side not to say how it shines :-). I must say we were a little hesitant to order my ring online but after reading so many good reviews on MJB we went for it. My future husband sure made a wise decision. Fun way to learn keyboard

I got this keyboard for my 7 year old to learn piano. It is a nice keyboard with a lot of instrument sounds, built-in drums and songs. It also comes with a great software program to use with the computer.She really has latched onto the program and we have worked on it a little every night since we got it. There are some cute elements to it like a talking piano. However, the lessons are serious and have videos of the teacher showing piano skills. We hook it up to our Mac with a cable it comes with. When you play along with the songs, the program points out where you mis-played. It then shows you on the keyboard the mistake and what you should have played.The keyboard itself seems well made. It has smaller keys than on my piano but that works well for a 7 year old. Their are plenty of instrument sounds for kids to play around with and the drum are fun to play oven. The songs that are built into the keyboard are not as good as the songs that are on the software program, so we have not done too much with that feature. You can see the songs played on the LCD screen on the keyboard but it is so much easier to learn from the software program that shows the music notation on a big screen with a animated piano that plays along with you.This is great to either a self motivated kid who wants to learn to play or if you you to do it together.

Nice for the price

I bought this for my nephew and he loved it. For the price it does a lot and the sound isn't bad, especially for kids. The tutorials are very good, if you can get a 6 year old to sit for them! Would recommend it. He has fun with it and 'jamming' with his brother and uncles. Cord is a bit short-nothing an extension cord can't fix.

Like this Keyboard

My kids love this keyboard. The smaller keys make it easier for them to play. My son started the lessons provided on the CD but he never really got far. It seemed like he was learning though. Pleanty of instrument sounds and sample songs on the keyboard.

Beautiful Wedding Accessory

This is gorgeous and well made product with a veil that can be pulled down over the eyes or worn pushed up off the face. The taupe colour is almost a neutral and worked well with nude shoes. I would describe it as a cross between a facinator and a hat. A little more than the typical facinator and a little less that a hat (a hatinator!) I am not typically a hat person, but I purchased it to wear back home in England for a wedding. I received many compliments and can't wait for the opportunity to wear it again.

Even the Brits were envious!

Wore this fascinator to a wedding 1/2 British 1/2 American ~ every person there came up to comment on how fabulous my "hat" was. It really is a eye-catcher, and very nicely made. The color is more on the cranberry side of purple and is just spectacular. I felt like the Belle of the Ball.

Excellent design

Excellent, quality design and millinery work on this saucy little hat! Fits nicely toward the front of the head and is a very "Kate Middleton-style" fascinator. I ordered the taupe color and it's a great shade of mink brown for fall! The veiling does have some small "pom pom" dotting that is not obvious in the photo, but it's very complementary and all of the elements are sewn, not glued, on to the base. It is lined & finished quite nicely and a real bargain for a fascinator at under $100!
