One of the best flashlights avaliable!

this flashlight is truly AMAZING!!! if you ever felt like you wanted to have all the power in the world buy this light. it will blindingly bring a grown man to his knees,and it will put the power of sunlight in your hands, and it will have all your neighbors waiting in line to hold it and use it. its a very big light, definatley not something you carry around casually, and its NOT something you use around the house......i pretty much got it just to say i have it. and turning it on out back in the fields it GREAT fun.PROS: insane light output for about half a mile, VERY sturdy, quality craftsmanshipCONS: it costs a lot of money,(some will think its worth it, like me), and its HUGE!!

I'm always on the lookout for a high output light for spotlighting birds and critters on foreign trips. Currently (Feb 2011) I'd say the SR91 package offers the best compromise between output/runtime/size/wt, although it is far from perfect.Things I like:1. output - the SR91 and its big brother, the SR90, offer some of the highest output from non-custom manufacturers using the Luminus SST90 LED.2. runtime - using regulated lithium ion batteries the SR91 gets about 80-90 minute runtime at full power. I know, I know, the original specs said 180 min., but 80 is still pretty good for the output.Things I don't like:1. Weight - I think they coulda shaved some weight of this light without losing any of its apparent ruggedness.2. output color - It appears to use a 6500k LED, I would prefer something warmer, I have another SST90 (4500K) light from a custom manufacturer who offers choices between 6500k, 5700k and 4500k LEDs.Oh, and it will get somewhat hot when operating on high.3. Runtime - Wish it had the 3hr output on high that the manufacturer originally said it did. Plus the higher ouput SR90 has the same runtime as the SR91.

Super bright light

My brother-in-law told me about this light and I had searched all over online to find the best price. Amazon.com seemed to have the lowest price that I could find. At first I was a little skeptical about ordering it from amazon.com because I wasn't sure about the return policy, or any company warranty in case if the light arrived to me damaged.I really liked the light and watched/read a ton of reviews on it then decided to order it. Like an hour after ordering the light I thought to myself, "holy crap, I just paid $250 for a flash light." and was starting to have second thoughts. Then when the light arrived and I turned it on for the first time, I didn't have any regrets about buying it. It came in an awesome Olight metal carrying case, came with a sling to carry the light, and a re-charging cord to plug into an outlet.This light is incredibly bright. I live next to a park and can blast houses on the opposite side of the park with light. My friends and I will often take this light with us into the mountains at night to light up the side of a hill so we can shoot targets. The high setting puts out so much light. The strobe setting is pretty cool too. The battery life lasts quite a long time, SEVERAL hours. It will light up anything in your way. It's great for anything at night from hiking at night, to bunny blasting out in the fields.I love this light however I wish the High Setting would last a little longer. After about 10 minutes or so it will automatically switch to the Low Setting because the head will start to heat up. Doesn't take too long to cool back down though. Also, keep in mind that this light isn't your normal size flash light. It's quite big. Would not be easy to conceal. But other than that this light is awesome and definitely worth the money. It would be great for something like Search And Rescue, or to scare the crap out of people, just whatever. I definitely recommend this light.
