Great in or out of bounds!

This product is so good that I bought three more to replace my aging Patagonia zip t's. I was afraid there was not a worthy replacement out there. I was not happy with what Patagonia was currently offering. The Arcteryx phase AR zip t has a correct athletic fit, extra length in the sleeves and tail which means it stays tucked in and wrists stay covered when reaching with ski poles or an ice axe. It has a high collar and the zipper is accessible with gloves.It transmits moisture very well. It is frequently the only upper layer I have on when skinning up Burke mountain and dries against the skin quickly. What remains to be seen is longevity but if it is anything like the other bomber Arcteryx products I own longevity should not be an issue. The price point seems reasonable if it holds up. Remember it is synthetic so unlike the wool products this stuff will start to get stinky after a couple of outings.

the fabric is comfortable, it looks good, it's light and keeps me warm when worn under a jacket.it's not too tight like other base layer i have(lowe alpine).

Great Base Layer

Bought this base layer for my snowboarding brother and he says it's a great layering shirt. Soft and warm. Does the job.
