My wife knits nearly 24/7 and complains about the texture of metal and plastic needles all the time. She uses bamboo for the most part, but those can be hard to find. She has always wanted a good wooden set but she could never find the will to splurge on them. I bought these as an early anniversary gift and she LOVED them. I'm not a knitter and I know jack about needles, but the wood seems study and the sizes are all clearly marked on the knobs at the ends. The case is fantastic and really adds a touch of class to the set. I just hope this set means that there won't be a mess of needles in my living room anymore, but that's probably asking too much.

This rosewood set is not only beautiful but very well made. I have not put them down since receiving them for a Christmas gift from my sweet husband. He has great taste and these needles are wonderful to look at as well as use. The case is lovely.
