Feels like I'm sitting on an extremely comfortable couch not a futon. assembled it in 30 minutes. The mattress is like sleeping on a real bed mattress. Easy to go from couch to bed. Sits 4 adults comfortably. The pillows that come with it are soft and comfortable I fall asleep on them. The only thing that I would say that requires an extra step is going from bed back to couch, the mattress is so thick that sometimes I have to lift it off the frame to lock the futon back. There was a packaging odor from the mattress but it wore off after a couple of days. I am super happy with my purchase. It's perfect for my small apartment and guests to sleep.
