5Very good notebook drive
By Handyman
I have been looking to buy a new 2.5" external hard drive and found this little gem.Comes with integrated USB cable. Now I don't have to worry about losing my USB cables. The finishing on the surface is really neat. It's not shiny like my other cheapo drives (which smeared easily with fingerprints). This one comes with a sanded/matte surface. Housing is pretty tough. I tried to twist it and it won't budge a bit.My Windows 7 notebook recognized the drive without problems. I like it!

5Thoughtfully Designed
By Jim Edwards
I like that this hard drive has a USB cord that wraps around the outside of it, so if you bring it somewhere, you only have to bring the drive itself, you don't have to worry about bringing a cable as well. I like that it also supports eSATA, so that if I want to transfer data faster, I have the option of doing that too.The drive is super quite, and while its case is a little larger than other cases, it is thinner than other portable hard drive cases that I've seen. The case is also made of metal, so it feels very sturdy to me.Over all, I am very happy with both the design and reliability of this drive. I've owned it for about eight months now, and it has survived spending most of that time in my backpack which I don't necessarily treat very gently.

4Fast, large capacity, easy to handle and connect
By JB Shmults
I bought this to be my main backup storage for digital images and Lightroom databases while I am on the road. Due to its large capacity, I also keep my complete music collection on it, enabling me to listen to any music I feel like. The built-in USB cable works well and gives me about a 17 mb/s transfer rate. This compares to a 30 mb/s rate when using the provided eSATA cable. However, the eSATA cable does not provide power and still requires an *additional* (but provided) USB cable that plugs into a separate power receptacle. Why they couldn't use the built-in USB cable as the power supply is a mystery to me...The drive is light-weight, small, well built and so far has worked very well. It has two LEDs built in, a red one while it is connecting or as an error indicator and a blue one to indicate normal operation, both blinking during transfer. The drive mounts very fast on Windoze 7 as soon as it is connected. It would be nice if they made or offered a sturdy and cushioned carrying case - I feel like I need to wrap it in something to protect it during transport.
