This is big and heavy - be prepared. Finish is sort of dull.

I just got this sculpture delivered. The box weighs 120 lbs. OK, you'll need help to move it. It comes with handles cut into the box, so you can sort of lift and drag it around. It's pretty easy to unpack. Mine arrive undamaged. It was well packed.First thing is that the sculpture comes in panels as you can see in the photo. They are supposed to be numbered individually, so you can hang them in order and right side up. Some of the panels had numbers on them, sort of faintly rubbed in. Some of them had no number that I could see and one had several numbers and letters on it all in a row; it was very confusing. What I did was line these panels up and try to piece them together by the pattern. I think I figured it out since there are sweeping patterns across the panels, so you can sort of see where the joins are. Makes me think that this was done in a big rush and attention was not properly paid to this issue.As far as the finish is concerned, I can't say that I'm totally happy. Seems like there are some holes in the paint where there is no color. I sort of expected color of some kind all the way across the panels. Maybe mine was done in a big rush, like the numbering issue indicates? I don't know for sure. I can see that this could be mounted outside as the finish seems like it would be weatherproof, so the holes are not bare metal, but there is just no color in these places. I'm hanging mine in the living room. It's not as bright and flashy as the photos look.Last thing, these panels are heavy. You'll need to make sure to have some really robust hangers to mount these panels on. The biggest panels are close to 40 lbs (my est I did not weigh them). Nails will not do at all. The panels have little flanges that have holes in them that you need to bend around and then you can use these to mount the panels on the wall. I'd say get something that is designed to handle the weight. I'm hanging it on drywall and I bought some hangers that can stand up to 100 lbs. I recommend that you get something that can take the weight.
