Beautiful product/unusual installation

First, the Kohler Stance spout is an absolutely beautiful piece of metal work and complements the other Stance fixtures well. However, if you're replacing an older tub spout like I was, you may have trouble installing it. Many older spouts -- including many Kohlers -- screw onto a threaded outlet pipe. This spout requires a straight outlet pipe and fastens using a friction mount that you tighten with an included hex wrench. It will not install on a threaded pipe. If have an older threaded spout, you have two choices: 1) hire a plumber to replace the outlet with straight pipe or 2) buy a different spout. I took one star off my rating (giving it 4 out of 5) because the product description was missing this important information, but if you can install it, I highly recommend it.

Better looking in person

This looked pretty generinc in photos. However, I figured it was good enough to get the job done. It is much better looking in person and it is very well executed. It weighs a ton.
