BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I got this item and my expectations were very high! This exceeded that! This has tons of speed and power. Very happy I chose this item. As some people may know, with a normal drill driver, it is extremely difficult/ next to impossible to drill through a knot in a piece of wood. I wanted to see what this could do. It drilled straight through 2 knots in 2 different pieces of wood stacked on each other easily. I could imagine that if I grabbed a longer screw, that I could go through more just as easy. The deal you get here is amazing as well. If I were to get all of this through LOWES.COM, I would of spent over 200 bucks for the SAME exact items. Great deal, Great service, Great item!!! I will, with no doubt, use Amazon in the future for my popular tool brand purchases if the deal is right.

This is my first impact driver. This is a totally different device than a cordless drill. Compare operating speed. These operate in the 3000 RPM range and are intended for full speed driving (aka fast). The torque capability (by the specs) is high. It is quite easy to drive the head of a screw through the piece of wood you are trying to secure if you are heavy with the trigger finger. I would say a driver is a driver and a drill is not.

So far so good... The hubby seemed very pleased with it for a Christmas gift... He's a carpenter and needs good quality tools. I haven't heard any complaints yet, which means he's secretly in love with it !!!
