It took us eight years to develop the mod. F1, a knife that is in use today with the Swedish Air Force as a survival knife. backwoods best friend

Had this knife for over a year and it is with me whenever I am in the backwoods. I do some trail running and camping and this knife is well-balanced (fine for throwing), very tough (great for chopping up firewood) and it keeps a good edge...This is by far the best all-around survival knife out there.

This knife by Fallkniven is true craftsmanship. It is very durable with a razor sharp edge. It's handle is perfect to hold even when your hands are wet or the weather is cold. The leather sheath is also very nicely crafted with top grade leather and heavy stitching. This knife will last a lifetime and then I will pass it down for my next generation to enjoy.

i have finally had the chance to really test this knife out and i am impressed with it. sharp out of the box but not "razor" as some have described still i did not need to sharpen before use. i beat on it all weekend long ( batoning, shaving, carving, and even small to medium chopping) and it passed every test at the campsite. holds its edge well as i have not needed to sharpen yet. the only complaint, and it doesnt bother me much at all, is that it does not stay in the sheath when opened and held upside down. the slightest of shakes and the blade fell out ( watch out for your toes if you try this test!), otherwise i love this little knife have recommended it to a few friends. very happy with this purchase
