A gorgeous humidor with a great seal.

5/18/12 - I just got my humidor today and it's now seasoning (6 Boveda 84% Seasoning packs). The very first thing I noticed upon opening the humidor was the seal. You can feel the lid sealing against the bottom as you close it. Very reassuring. I have no doubt that this humidor will hold. The top tray has 2 dividers in it and the bottom of the humidor has a single divider. My only complaints (and they aren't big enough to warrant lowering my rating) are the lid accessories. The Hygrometer is a gold dial type of dubious calibration and the oasis feels cheap. I planned from the start on putting in a Hygroset II so the gold dial bling is irrelevant and the oasis may be as well if I decide to opt later for a Cigar Oasis XL or Boveda Packs to maintain the humidity. Getting the oasis to stick to the lid is a pain as all you're give is a flat magnet with sticky tape on the back of it. The tape, of course, does not hold up the uncharged oasis and you can hear it drop into the tray as soon as you close the lid. The fact that bloth of these accessories have cedar framing around them is more annoying than anything else.

What can I say, the quality of the construction and the veneer on this Humidor is outstanding. It is extremely solid and reassuringly heavy. From a practical point of view it also holds the humidity very well.The one note of caution I would sound is that the analogue hygrometer is dreadful, it looks very pleasing but is completely wrong all of the time. However once you invest in a cheap digital model you are set!Overall, I would say I am really happy. It looks fantastic and does its job. That all you could really ask for.

needed a bigger humidor. my 50 cigar humidor was too small. this is a nice size for me and a handsome piece as well. my wife actually lets me keep this one out in the open. when originally received there was a chip in it and the seller replaced it with no questions asked, and paid all shipping.
