Egyptian cotton, it's not just cotton grown in Egypt - it is a particular type of long-staple cotton originally grown along the Nile. Egyptian cotton has the longest fibers. That is, when you pull the cotton from the cotton plant and remove the seeds and waxes, Egyptian cotton has longer fibers available for spinning into yarn than other cottons. When intertwining strands of yarn to make a larger product, long-staple cotton has fewer connection points, and therefore a greater percentage of area is the natural softness of the cotton.

Smooth As Silk!

I purchased two sets of these sheets in different colors. They are the smoothest, softest sheet I have ever purchased. I would certainly recommend them, even in place of other silk type fabrics. And, they are not "300" Thread as listed, they are 800 count thread.

Poor quality, no poles

Sheet set was incredibly poor quality, thin and wrinkly with fabric that pills and collects lint - which doesn't matter anyway, as the poles were not included with the sheets, making them worthless for actually using them. Tried to make do with what I had, but ended up throwing these away and purchasing new sheets. Total waste of money and time.

Very happy with sheets. Recommend them. Pole fittings fit, sheets were pleasant to touch,smooth ,good deal.Washed well. Loved the color.
