I've been shopping and researching for quite a while to find a good automatic mechanical watch without spending a fortune. This watch is outstanding. It has the feel and look of good solid craftsmanship. My preference is more towards a simple elegant look, I don't care much for a lot of dials and clutter on the watch face. It has a classy look and the smoother sweep of the second hand sold it for me. I was so tired of the click, click, click of quarts watches. I highly recommend this watch to anyone.
