High quality drum kit and a great value
By Daniel J. Brown
I have had my Pearl Forum drum kit for years and the quality of these drums is great. The kit comes with everything you need to get started. The sound quality is very good. I changed to Evans heads and the sound quality went from very good to great. You will, of course, want to add more cymbals. A word of advice to the previous review. Tighten the snare on the bottom of the snare drum and the rattling will stop. The snare is adjustable so tighten it until you get the snare sound you like to hear. You will not find a better drum kit in this price range.

Alright, but not enough for the money.
By PacMan
I started getting really interested in drums a while ago, after I quit piano. So I bought this new, pretty expensive, drum set, and while it is nice for practicing at home, I was disappointed with what I got for 700 bucks. The metal rattle on the snare drum rattles loudly whenever a different drum is hit nearby, due to the vibrations that keep going for approximately 5 seconds after you hit any drum. Again, it's a nice practice drum for playing at home, but I expected more for my money.
