3Product s as pictured, but wish the Balaclava part at the face was bigger
By Snel
The product is as pictured and as described. The material is good and the red color is a normal red and not offensive. It shipped fine and the size for the jacket portion is fine... though when you zip it up it kind of bulges on the bottom front because of all the zipper pockets they have all in the front.Unlike a lot of other Jackets that do not zip up very far, I like how this zips up further and can act like a balaclava unlike the other jackets that claim it and do not even cover past the chin. This one actually covers past the chin and up to the tip of the nose. Unfortunately, there is an issue with the balaclava part. I wish they would give more room in the area around where it zips from neck to nose. This is a problem I see with ALL jackets that zip up to the face...There needs to be MORE room in Front of the Face. They need to put extra fabric for the face and head area. Everyone has a different size head so they need to account for that... I don't understand why they did not add more room in that area especially since the zipper zips up in front of the nose and mouth. The ending of the zipper area is bulging and uncomfortably pushes on the nose or face because they did not account for the room needed for the face. It needs a little more room so it does not rub up the nose or face.Other than that it is a good jacket and can be used to keep warm for various activities like biking, walking, day to day activities, etc.

5Great lightweight jacket for mid layer
By ThePossibleHuman
This is a great lightweight jacket to be worn as a midlayer in a layering system. It's also warm enough and durable enough to be utilized as a soft shell on its own in the mountains depending on the conditions. The wind and water resistance performs well, but you'll definitely a hard shell on particularly windy or rainy days. The thing that stood out to me is its durability. While this didn't happen in the mountains, I was tackled by a friend on the street one night (one of those nights). I was in this jacket, and my I got very bad road rash from wrist to elbow. There was not even a single scuff on the jacket though. It could handle the typical scraping and rubbing against rock while climbing no problem at all.The best part is that this takes up about a quarter of the pack space and is much lighter than the Northface Denali fleece that this is replacing. The Denali is slightly warmer by comparison.
