Mad Raves about Mad Hatter

In every party, this "original work of design" and it's ""imagination were always well received.It is a fun and genuine alternative to those looking for a unique difference to the recent "Disney" take on the "Hatter", which was absolutely stunning. But, when everyone is wearing the same costume, won't lend itself to having a standout difference in the given situation.My only concern was in placement of the order with this seller. As it was not clear on when order was actually "received" by the seller and thus delayed receiveing the order itself, which at the time, was a paramount timing issue. None the less, the seller was very accomodating and the "day was saved".Sizing runs a bit small. As a an XL, this costume still ran a might tight in the vest and chest areas. ie: concider if you normally wear a 42-46. Also, if your taller, over 6' -6'3", the pants run short and tight in the thigh and hips. You'll need to purchase a button up collor shirt too, as not sold with the costume, otherwise you will be wearing a vest and a "velcro" tie only. The appearance on the "Product Image" implies there is a shirt included, and there is none. The shoes are also not part of the costume.As for any personal recommedations:Shoes may be found at a "Salvation Army" type store. Not only are you helping others, but you can lend to the genuine feel of the costume with old and worn black dress shoes.Also note, that taking a costume of this nature and simply putting it on straight away would be a dis-service to it, and it's buyer. I would recommend taking a few simple, yet creative steps to enhance the appearance of the product, for believability and effect. One such step is to take "interfacing" and apply it to the jackets lapels and collar, as it "stiffens" and "flattens" these areas. For me, this simple to do procedure made the effect even more like it's "Product Image" and gave the costume added value. As did substituting a white "mad scientist" wig, instead of the black.As a purchaser note: be sure to check your package to be sure that ALL accessories are shipped, and shipped correctly. I found that my "gloves" were not the same as in the picture. NOTE: one is black and white, the other white and black. I recieved two "white and black"; meaning: both outter hands appeared white, when it looks as though the original design is one is to be black on the outside and the other white. A simple detail, but important to the scheme.Finally, in your conciderations of purchase, know this great cosutme would work for many occasions, and is not limited to the Halloween season. It seems to this buyer, stage would benefit from it, as would other events throughout the year, any art fest, celebrations for Mardi Gras and even Birthday Parties.
