logo in the heel hurts

I'm returning this (bought at the Boston Clarks store yesterday, worn 6 hours): the green WAVE logo embedded into the heel of the inner sole hurts. Sounds like straight out of Dilbert where the marketing department introduces a counterproductive gimmick. What good is a logo that is covered when the product is used?!If it weren't for that idiocy this would be a good sandal.
