Was skeptical about purchasing this Captain's Bed and it being shipped, what if it was damaged or something? The quality of this bed is amazing and my Grandson just loves it. It was very easy to assemble and very sturdy. I purchased a white Captain's Bed for my Granddaughter locally at a store and the quality was no where near the Merlot. Very very pleased with Amazon purchase.

This bed is great for the $$$. I found the assembly fairly straightforward, and the unit cosmetically nice. I have assembled and disassembled this bed into both configurations, and it works fine. I have the 3 drawer version, with the trundle bed, and we purchased a $99 mattress for the trundle, and it works great.The unit arrived with some damaged pieces, but the seller replaced them quickly, and without asking questions.I was originally hesitant to order such a large item from Amazon, but the experience was great.
