Broke after 2 weeks - replacement part broke too - Poor design

My parents bought me this sprayer for my birthday as I have begun doing some furniture repainting as a hobby. I used it on a couple of small projects and it worked great. I was surprised at how far the paint went (because you water it down). It wasn't too heavy to hold and easy to control. I like the versatility of the different spray patterns - very useful w/ furniture projects.Then one Saturday I had two coffee tables and four spindle chairs out. Gave them all two coats of primer with the sprayer, then started in on the black paint. After one coat I couldn't get the sprayer to spray anymore. I checked everything the manual said to, cleaned it out, etc to no avail. I set it aside.A few days later I came back to it - same problem. It wouldn't even spray water when I was testing it in the sink. It was then that my husband noticed that the plastic seal in the container lid was cracked. I called Home Right customer service and she said she would get the part "right out". 10 days later I was still waiting, so I called again. That CS told me that the reason I hadn't gotten the part was because they were out but she would go get one out of a box and UPS Next Day it to me. Two days later, no part. I called again and the CS agent was able to verify that it was sent, but just regular USPS.The first replacement part was for the wrong item. When the correct part did come, it too was cracked in pretty much the same exact spot. So basically there's a major design flaw in that one part that is going to continue to be a problem. I am contacting the manufacturer for a refund.

Works great and is very easy to use. Clean up is a breeze. I only wish I had bought this earlier as it makes the painting job easier and faster.

I have had the Homeright paint sprayer for a month now and have used it on 6 small home projects. It works very well in all the facets I have found so far. The only draw-backs that I have found so far are the motor is rather loud. I found a set of foam earplugs fix it quite well. And the other thing is I wish that the draw tube from the pot was made of metal. I'm starting to see signs of wear from use of a cleaning brush and solvents. It still holds up fine, it is just looks to be wearing faster than I thought it should. Over all this paint sprayer works very well and speeds up the paint process immensely!! I would recommend this product for anyone looking to take care of a lot of small home projects. It saves time and money from wasting paint.
