Very nice pack, but not gonna last a lifetime.

I've had this backpack for about a month. I'm in grad school, so it gets daily use and pretty heavy load (laptop, 2 textbooks, folders, etc). The leather is nice and feels genuine and luxurious. I like that the sides and top of the bag are "padded" feeling- not just leather with liner slapped on the back, it feels like thick leather. The zippers are holding up so far. The side pockets are the perfect size for a water bottle or a pair of sunglasses. Overall the pack is a little bit on the wide side. I am a little disappointed that the shoulder straps are beginning to tear a bit where they meet at the top of the pack. It is probably because they are so close together that a lot of strain is put on the inner stitches. It's nothing major but it makes me think that the pack is going to make it a year or two, tops. I wish it came with a warranty.4 stars because it's such a nice pack. Not 5 stars because I think a pack this expensive should last for years, and I don't think its going to make it.
