Surprisingly Enough I Really Like It

After reading several reviews, including one from my favorite perfume blog, Now Smell This, I was ready to pass this over. The general consensus was that though it did smell nice, it just didn't offer anything interesting or memorable. One reviewer went as far as to say that Miss Pucci will be a resounding flop and die out within a year. So when I added a free sample of the EDP spray to my recent Sephora order I thought it would be something ho-hum but pretty I could wear a few days and move on. When I first sprayed it I didn't like it at all, it was too musky and powdery and I detest powdery fragrances. After about a minute or so the icky elements disappeared and what remained was a light, dainty floral with fresh citrusy notes. The reason it's described as nothing special I think is because it reminds one of so many other perfumes that have been done over and over. So yes, I'm playing it safe with this one but it's exactly what I want for the upcoming spring and summer. It's not too sweet and sticky, not too overpowering and it's nice and light and feminine.
