Product Description
For indoor applications requiring high-quality footage, the easy-to-operate Vivotek FD8134 fixed dome network camera provides clear and detailed images in one compact package. With a 1 megapixel sensor, the FD8134 has a viewing resolution of 1280 x 800 at 30 frames per second. A removable IR-cut filter enables day and night function for true 24-hour surveillance. Additionally, the fixed dome camera uses H.264 video compression to optimize bandwidth and network storage. Video streams can also be transmitted in MPEG-4 and MJPEG formats for multiple users across different platforms requiring varying resolutions, frame rates, and image qualities.

Good camera, reasonable price

I've been pretty happy with this camera, especially at this price point.- sharp, clear pictures at a good resolution - with subject moving- pretty easy to configure - I'm using Blue Iris to record alert images and video.- good IR images - images are clear out to about 20'. Can't comment beyond that - this is the size of the room the camera is located in.

Be careful

In the description it says the camera has a 3-axis mechanical design. Do not mistake this as I did as meaning that it is motorized. This means that you have to make adjustments by hand. If you haven't done this before, it is both a painstaking and tedious task.I does however produce a picture of good quality, which is why I gave it a mediocre rating.
