Shoes or slippers?

I bought these looking for a pair a slippers and found them onlne heavily discounted. Cole Haan makes excellent shoes, why not? The shearling is warm and they are padded appropriately like shoes. You could easily wear these as shoes during the winter as they have a durable slip resistant sole that would be good for fall/ winter mess. As slippers, they are excellent and warm but have a bit more substantial support and sole than most slippers. I could not be happier with the price and quality, afterall, they are Cole Haan. As I wear these without socks, I bought a size 9 and a 10 to see the difference. I normally wear a 9 1/2. I went with the slightly more snug 9, as I'll wear these without socks and I expect them to break in and loosen over time. They have now become my house-shoes of choice. As soon as you come in from the cold, take off your cold/ wet shoes and put these on. Success!
