Almost perfect--but not quite

I'm 5'10", 128 pounds and purchased a small. The Good:- I don't do much biking around town, but if I feel like running errands after I ride home from work and before I take a shower, I definitely feel comfortable walking around town in this.- This comes to mid-thigh on me, which is shorter than I would usually be comfortable wearing, but still quite flattering.- The chamois is comfortable The Bad:- The "Stay-put grippers at leg openings" definitely stay put, but they also produce the stuffed sausage effect so common in bike shorts, where my thigh fat bulges out on either side. (Luckily, it's mostly obscured or I'm in motion and not thinking about it.)- The waistband, on the other hand, is too loose. Skirt Sports' website says, "Slightly higher in back to avoid 'crack-factor,'" yet these are the only bike shorts (or short-type things) where I would worry about such a thing.I suspect that if you either a) were more apple shaped than pear shaped, or b) had shorter legs so the elastic hit closer to your knees, it would fit better. I wish:- Part of my motivation for getting this particular bike skirt was the hope that the pockets on the legs would also let this double as a tennis skirt. They are not *quite* big enough to easily cram a tennis ball in there, although it is possible. I end up tucking them in the legs instead, which hopefully will stretch them out. The pocket is big enough, however, to fit my large-ish phone (a Galaxy Nexus), which is more what they were designed for.- The side pockets are nice, but it would also be even nicer if there was a small key pocket in the back. You can never have too many pockets.- It'd be nice to have a tag or loop to hang it up with. A side note:- Amazon inadvertently shipped me the Pearl Izumi Women's Superstar Skirt first. I had considered buying that one, but after seeing it in person I'm glad I didn't. I thought the fact that it was detachable would mean you could wear the shorts by themselves, but they're made of mesh. It was also shorter and generally less flattering on me. Fit issues aside, I'm pretty happy with this skirt and have been hand washing it so I can wear it multiple times between loads of laundry.

Love it!

This is my 5th biking skort from skirt sports. They make their apparel functional and fashionable. It's a very comfortable skort. We ride anywhere from 26-60 miles in a day and this skort is great!

I bought this bike skirt to wear on a 10 day bike trip. It fits perfectly. The chamois liner fits the female anatomy well. The audio pocket is a great feature for right handed women. I am 5'3 and 120 lbs and the small fits me perfectly.The mid thigh length is attractive, you would never know there are bike shorts under it. I couldn't be happier!
