Four of us bought these cots for our camping/fishing trip in Canada. The cots are large and comfortable. Before purchasing we researched quite a bit and spent some time in stores like Cabela's trying several different cots. They all seem to move a bit end to end but most are stable side to side. This cot is quiet, no squeaking when rolling over, etc. and the end to end movement is minimal compared to others. The 20" height makes sliding clothes bags under it easy and saves room in the tent. We had two of these cots in each 10'x10' Kelty Traildome 6 tent with plenty of room to walk between the cots and enough room at each end so the cots didn't touch the walls. The cot was very comfortable with 1.5" memory foam Mattress topper which is probably overkill, but when you're there for a week, why not be comfortable. The foam also helped retain heat on nights with temps in the low 40's. We never got cold. Assembly was not an issue, but I can see where a bit of strength is required to assemble. Although we did not need it, a hammer handle or similar item can be used as a lever to aid in assembly - see videos on YouTube. Breaking the cot down was quick and easy and it packed into its bag easily. After a week on the cot, I think it is a fabulous upgrade from the inflatable mattress we used in past years.

How could you not love a roomy bed. That is just what this cot offers. It is a great camping bed. Fell out of the last cot but this cot you can turn over in the night and not fall out of. It is longer then my regular bed and is very comfortable. Love it.

This is pretty darned impressive! The cot is HUGE--nearly seven feet long and nearly 3 feet wide and nearly two feet off the ground. It's not exactly lightweight but for what it is I'm not going to complain. Putting it together may require a long hammer or something else to use a leverage for the end pieces--the fabric tension holds it very tightly together. It is quite comfortable and sturdy. Watch your fingers--be careful and don't get 'em pinched. Go to the texsport website---they show it with three Big Dudes all sitting on it at once with their feet off the ground--it ain't goin' nowhere! I suspect it holds even more than 350lbs judging from the guys in that picture.This was an outstanding buy!
