This kit includes a professional quality 850-watt 6-inch random orbital polisher with 10-foot cord, a 6-inch orange polishing pad, a 6-inch red waxing pad, a 16-ounce bottle of machine polish, a 16-ounce bottle of Best of Show Wax, a 35-ounce spray bottle of Speed Shine, one paint cleaning clay, an instructional machine polishing DVD, and a detailer's handbook. Begin by using the paint cleaning clay and Speed Shine for a fast, easy and thorough cleaning. Next, depending on how many swirl marks you need to remove, use the machine polish on the orange foam polishing pad. Use the machine polish again and feel totally safe. Very good setup for a beginner

This is the first time that I've ever used a machine to work on the paint of the car. I had been hesitant in the past, but decided it was time to not be scared and take the plungeWe just got a new (to us) car and the previous owner took off bird droppings with a dry paper-towel (OUCH!). The paint was heavily scratched (not through clear coat) in two areas because of this.The best part about this kit is the included book and dvd that show you exactly what to do. The included polish is the 'standard' griots garage polish - meaning that this is what is recommended for most paint conditions. The included wax is their highest quality wax. It is supposed to give the best shine on the car, but will not last as long as their less shiny waxes. All other itmes are the only available of what they do from Griots.I read the book and watched the dvd. After a half day washing, clay-baring, polishing, and waxing the car - I was very impressed with the results. The heavy scratching from the previous owner's ignorance was nearly gone and the shine on the car was amazing.I loved the products enough to convince me to purchase many more items from Griot's Garage - including their wash kit.Edit 9/5/11:After working with this kit and buying many other Griot's products over the past months, I'm still very impressed. I have also been pleased at the life of the included wax, which I was expecting to only last a couple months. It is still going strong, with me using the Griot's Spray On Wax every time I wash the cars.I've used the kit on a friends car that had never been detailed and parked next to a plant that used outdoor spray paint and got over-spray all over the car. The paint felt like sandpaper and some hours with the clay bar and polish brought the shine back and the paint felt like glass.Still highly recommend!

I am a former bodyman and am very familiar with all types of buffers.Everything included in this package makes it a one stop purchase for everything you need to take care of your paint. Griots lineup of products is the best around. No one takes more pride in the products they carry than Griots.The major purchase is really the Buffer. This buffer outperforms the Porter Cable in every way and include the longer warranty and its a no-brainer.You don't need to think about this purchase. I have spent more than 40hrs with buffer and these products and they are awesome.
