Combine the Oneida Ultimate Dust Deputy II with the quality and performance of a Festool CT Dust Extraction System to create the ultimate three stage vacuum system. The debris passes through the Ultimate Dust Deputy II where the cyclonic action separates out 99 of the dust and deposits it into the 9 gallon collection box before it goes into the vacuum. The small percentage of dust that makes it through the Dust Deputy is then deposited into the vacuums collection bag. Any remaining particles that escape the dust collectors bag, pass through Festools HEPA filters where 99.97 of particles .3 microns or larger are trapped. While this system was designed to work perfectly with Festool CT Dust Extractors, the Ultimate Dust Deputy II works with any shop vacuum. What does all of this mean to woodworkers? Great add to festool dust collection

This was a great purchase-- no loss in suction, will save on bags in the long run as practically all the debris stay in the dust deputy. My festool bag is practically empty. The only downside is that it is a little pain to transport--I think that this is best kept in the shop. I would definitely buy this again

Came very well packed and very easy to assemble. I have been using the Festool for some years and have had to replace the bags many times. This should pay for itself in a year or two on bag savings alone.

Has Static issues

This does a great job at removing material from the stream. Very happy with that aspect.But it has static build up issues to the point where it zapped the motor controller in my Festool CT22.Parts to repair alone are $147.00. Oneida has a fix for it now but its a bunch of cheap metal tape stuck all over the unit. I plan on doing something a littler neater but along the same "electrical" lines as what they recommend.Not happy !
