Great Headset, Great Price

The comfort and functionality of this headset is absolutely wonderful. I bought them as a backup for my passengers now that I have my license. After trying them on, I am now thinking about using these and giving my passengers my $275 Denalis. Flightcomm makes some quality products and this made me very happy again as a second time buyer. If you need a passenger set or you are beginning flying, this headset is PERFECT. Its a tad heavy, but it is built great and comes with cloth covers for extra sound suppression and comfort. A+ headset, seller, and shipping time. I really do recommend these!

Ok for a basic headset

Sound quality is so-so,they fit very tight, painfully so if you have to wear them more than an hour. I bought the Faro G2 - Premium Pilot Aviation Headset, w/ Mp3 Input as my primary headset and the Flightcom headset for my passengers. I wore the Flightcom set for a couple weeks and when I move to my Faro and it was night and day. The Faro are comfortable out of the box, have much better sound and good noise reduction. They are more expensive but for $90 more they are worth it.

Tight

The headset is well built and feels like it'll last a while. The boom mike is very firm in it's placement and doesn't drift away. The only drawback to this headset is the tightness that will show itself after about 3 hours of a cross country, particularly around the cartilage on your ears. Other than that, it's a very cost effective item and is better than most of the david clarks I've worn as an aviator and as a maintainer.
