New Rock 7622-S1 Boots

I looked for the "perfect" boot for months, and found these. I hesitated for several weeks, trying to decide if I wanted them bad enough to pay over $300 for them, without being able to try them on first. I ultimately ordered them, and they arrived today. The craftsmanship is better than any other pair of boots I've seen. The leather feels oil-based so it will be water resistant, is not overly stiff, yet feels very durable. The soles, not showed in the images, are perfect for riding, with a good deal of tread, complete with a very cool New Rock silver emblem on bottom. The skull conchos on the harness swivel - I will probably take them to a cobbler and have him tack them straight. There is a partial zipper on the in-facing side that frees up the ankle and top for easy foot insertion. The zipper does not come all the way to the top, so this reduces the opportunity for wear from regular unzipping. The cross emblem seen in the pic is shiny silver thread. Very, very cool. The sizing chart is dead on. I wear 10.5 (11 is uncomfortably big, 10 is uncomfortably small), so I ordered the european size 44, and it's a perfect fit. This is, by far, the nicest leather item I have ever owned.
