This became my favorite shoe - out of the box!

Every so often there is a piece of clothing you buy and it immediately becomes your favorite. That weathered flannel shirt, those jeans that fit perfectly. These shoes are like that, out of the box... I knew I liked the way they looked from the internet pictures so no worries there, but always a little worried about ordering shoes online as I don't know how they'll feel when I put them on. And I usually like Clarks shoes but every so often have been disappointed by the brand (one or two pair I bought seemed really cheap).WOW. These shoes are like crawling into a warm bed on a cold winter's night. They feel great and immediately have become my favorite "kicking around" shoes. I am going to order the other colors. There are more reviews on these shoes on other sites, but Amazon does have the best price I found. The reviews on those sites are equally complimentary. These shoes are well-made, comfortable, look great, and seem to be built to last.Trust me, get these shoes. They are great for weekends, beach, summer, spring. I don't say this often about shoes, but I love these shoes.Hope this helps.

Look at the shoe photo that shows the outline of the sole. The back is a little narrow and the front is a little wide. Perfect for me. There is no slipping at the heel, and plenty of room if you are usually squeezed at the toes. Very firm support, but not hard at the arch. Feels more like a comfortable moccasin, but with better support and stability. Like a good tennis shoe with the convenience of being a slip-on. (Inside lining is some sort of flannel like material, so it's soft against the foot if you wear it sometimes without socks. No odd irritating welts or seams.) Olive is very sharp looking. Salesman said they ran big and he was right. I usually wear 91/2, but the 9 was a better fit.

I bought these for my son for high school. He wears them everyday. He says they make him taller and they are the most comfortable shoe he's ever worn. He loves them! They are easy to slip on and off and they have great support.
