Wonderful stand alone card

Very fast, can be overclocked to a huge extent with the stock cooler, quiet fan if you dont overclock it (and still not that loud at full speed), vents the heat out the back, only 1 game it could not play on full (Metro 2033, it maxed out the video memory on max settings and just started choking), short, very cool (often found it was cooler then my liquid cooled CPU)Loved it, sold my first and bought 2 more (to SLI them)Not a smart move, the SLI started shuttering (large horizontal portions of the screen would be out of focus, jittery, or just way off (like solid black), tested both GPUs independent and they were fine, the SLI connector had no visible damage, tried different board positions (i had 3 PCIe 2.0 slots) all results the same, as soon as it tried to process with both GPUs at the same time, i got major graphical anomaliesI got the SLI to work long enough to run a benchmark, it showed lower scores then just a single card, both GPUs spent so much time talking to each other they were not improving performanceReturning the 2 to get a GTX480 like i should haveMSI afterburner is an AMAZING piece of software, outputted my GPU information to my G15, easy overclocking, lots of overclocking, custom fan speed graphsDX11 has not impressed me that much, but it is fairly new so not much can be expected as of yetSystem build:Windows 7 x64AMD phenom 2 x4 955MSI NF980-G65Corsair XMS3 (2x2 @ 1333)Rosewill RX950-D-B 950W3 Seagate ST3200826AS in RAID 5 (with OS on this)Azza Solano 1000 blue full towerGraphics cards (used)8800GTOC2 (benchmarked at 14k in 3dmark06)8800GTOC2 SLI (benchmarked at 15k)MSI GTX460 (benchmarked at 16.5k, 18.5k overclocked)MSI GTX460 SLI (benchmarked at 16k, numerous graphical anomalies)NF980 (onboard GPU, to weak to benchmark properly)
