Astounding Quality and Beauty!

I must say that my expectations were not very high for such an inexpensive dress ($114.99 + $24 shipping). But when this dress arrived- only TWO days after I ordered it- I was most pleasantly surprised! There are layers and layers of fabric in this dress and the bead and sequin work on it is exceptional. Please measure carefully because my daughter usually wears a size 6 but needed a size 8 in this dress based on her measurements. It fits beautifully. I ordered the burgundy dress and it is a very rich color. The dress comes with removable spaghetti straps and a bolero (the one on picture #2). I was very glad to get the bolero because my daughter likes to dress a bit more modest than what is usually available for dresses of this sort. I will still tweak this dress a bit by adding inch-wide straps that criss-cross in the back to give her even more coverage and support. I want her to look feminine and elegant but also feel confident while she enjoys her first formal event. This dress is beautiful and I HIGHLY recommend it! Thank you US Fairytales!

My daughter and I chose this dress for her prom. She is a curvy girl and we were concerned about the fit. We measured her carefully and used the seller's guidelines to choose her size (14). We placed the order and kept our fingers crossed. Four quick days later the dress arrived. We held our breath while we opened the box and low and behold it was perfect! The color was exactly as described and it was just beautiful. The sequins and tulle were lovely. Still we didn't know about the fit..... We went into my room and I helped her get it on over her head (there are miles of tulle and netting for the underskirt). To our delight the gown zipped up easily and fit perfectly!! She does not need a crinoline or petticoat as the skirt is very full without it. Oh and the dress even came with a darling shrug to cover her shoulders. The little bolero is light and airy and covered with pretty little sequins and glitter, but soft to wear. I will definitely order from this seller next year for her Senior Prom. Thank you so much for making this purchase so pleasant.

My 17yo daughter is delighted with this purchase, which speaks volumes more than I (the purchaser) could speak about it. She wanted to look like a princess for her final high school prom, and this dress will help to make it happen.The fit is precisely as described. She wears a size 4-5 in real life (about 130lb., 5'8" tall), but we paid attention to the specifications. After measuring her bust and waist, we decided to order an 8 from this seller. The fit is perfect. When she is in heels, the gown just dusts the floor.Despite a small hangup about the marked size (really, it is the same as a size 8 would have been when I was in high school...most current mfrs. just adjust the size to stroke a few egos), my daughter is delighted. Her delight is my main interest regarding this gown.The construction of the gown is more sturdy that I expected. I do not consider this to be a one-time-use purchase. For the price of a gown at DEB (in MA) or a Sophisticated Lady (in CA), we have received a gown that reaches beyond those expectations.The outer tulle portion is a slightly haphazardly cut, but it would probably not be noticeable to anyone unless they had an interest in sewing or were looking closely (i.e. standing at the model's feet, and comparing the tulle to the actual skirt of the gown). The construction and materials are well within acceptable limits for the price of this gown. The undergown is fashioned appropriately, a shift at the top, with a layer of tulle to pouf out the main overskirt. The main gown is of a satisfactory heft. The beaded tulle overgown, while not hemmed (i.e. trimmed) with a perfectionist's aim, is sufficient. The beading accentuates the pattern of the gown.This purchase satisfies both my budget restrictions and my daughter's style expectations.Overall, my teen feels like a princess. That is the main purpose for purchasing a gown like this. The color is true, the gown fits the description (both style and size), and the price is comparable to similar (or inferior) gowns. The bustline accentuates her figure, without calling embarrassing attention to the (average size) of her bustline. A bust is not necessary to support this gown. It rises above the level of her undergarment, so she can wear accentuating support without revealing it. The gown is the perfect length.We are happy with this purchase. Will recommend this seller/gown to anyone who asks, and likely will recommend to many who do not ask. I will consider this seller when I prepare to purchase my military ball gown this coming autumn.The reason that we marked 4 stars (instead of 5) is that this is not designer quality. It is a step between "off the rack" and "designer". But it is an excellent deal, for the price.
