5Comfortable, true-to-size, looks as shown

Gorgeous shoe - I combed the Web for a good-looking Salsa/Ballroom shoe that didn't break the bank or look incredibly gaudy. These shoes are great for wearing out to dinner and if you get the chance to cut a rug, well you're ready to go and can dance the night away, comfortably...although, I recommend putting in Dr. Scholl's sandal inserts for extra comfort.

4good startup shoe

These shoes run a bit small, I am a size 8 and got them 9, they fit snuggly, but crush my pinky toe. In terms of balance, this shoe is not bad, although i would've liked the heel to be a bit wider at the bottom.

5Nice but order 1/2 size up--and DANCE away!
By usuario99
I'm usually an 8.5 but these shoes are much smaller and narrow. The design is beautiful and the shoes are comfortable (very light). If you have a wide foot the little straps may bother you after a while. But it's a definitely good-looking shoe. Shiny (very) black will go well with elegant outfits. The ankle strap can be adjusted to your comfort--it slides into the buckle, so it's easy to put on and take off. Provides good arch support but the inside is soft and my toes want to slide forward... So I've shopped for a cushion pad to see if that works out. If I were at a store and could try 2 other options, I would. But I got these and they're good looking, comfortable, and not too expensive. So I'm going to try to make them work better.UPDATE--AFTER DANCING on 12/31: HIGHLY recommended! Didn't think about the shoes until it was time to go to bed!! I had them on for about 8 hours on hardwood floors and on the harder (cement type) dance floor. Didn't need cushion pads (tried them but they didn't make the shoe any comfortable). Ordering 1/2 size up worked out perfectly well. (Mind you, I was indoors all the time. If you're walking in the streets for a while, you'd probably ruin the suede soles.)
