Nice bag, but the images were a tad deceiving

I've had many briefcases over the course of my long career. I've had the "traditional" box style briefcases, double and triple gusset briefcases and always purchased them in leather.This is a very nice bag. It's spacious, has more than enough compartments and pockets for things like pens, calculators, check books, extra cables for your laptop and is very nice looking.My one complaint is with the handles. They are not the same on both sides of the bag. On one side the handles end "inside" the body of the bag and are trimmed with chrome finished accents. I've found this style of handle to handle rough handling and daily usage of the bag very well. The handle on the other side is simply stitched to the leather body of the bag. I know from experience that this method of attachment will not and does not hold up to wear. Eventually the stitching will loosen and before you know it you will either be having the bag repaired or replaced. This is the one knock I have on the product and is why I deducted one star from what would have been a 5 star rating.All that said, there are nice positives to this bag. As I stated, it's spacious and holds my 17 inch full size laptop with ease. The "check point friendly" sleeve is a nice add on this bag. It provides another layer of zippered protection to the laptop without adding much in weight.I do consider the bag a good purchase for the price, but if you are a stickler about handles then you may want to consider other options.
