SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE UNDERCOVER FIRST!

About a month ago I bought the Rugged Liner Solid Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover from a local dealer just before leaving for Pennsylvania and was very disappointed due to it leaked every time it rained. This Rugged Liner cost $700.00 and the local dealer told me to put rubber seals in the joints where it folds. This made it leaked worst. After trying for a month to stop it from leaking I decided that the Rugged Liner Solid Tri - Fold was a poor design and should not be on the market. Not worth rusting out the bed of my truck due to constant moisture.I order the Undercover UC2040 Classic Tonneau for the 2004 Ford Ranger. After about a half hour I had it installed. The instructions are very easy to follow. From Amazon, I paid $756.00. Local dealers wanted $960.00 and told me it included installation. Who are they kidding - $200.00 for installation is just robbery.I wished I had bought this tonneau cover to begin with. It is one piece and I know that it will not leak even with the hardest rain. Thank you Amazon for having offered this Undercover product. It is worth every penny and you have one happy customer.

Aftermarket Replacement Fog Lamps almost as good as OEM at half the price!

I ordered a set of these from AutoHalo for my '08 Toyota Sienna. At $144/pair they are very price competitive with the OEM lamps from Toyota, which are around $150 each. I only awarded 4 stars because of some headaches I had with the ordering process, and not with the quality of the item.Long story short, I've come to learn that much of the aftermarket crash replacement lighting is made by either TYC or Depo. These replacement brand parts are very similar to the OEM (NAL ??) units, but not identical. Nor are they identical to each other. So imagine my surprise when AutoHalo shipped me two different brand parts: Left lamp = Depo, Right lamp = TYC. I filed a complaint and AutoHalo asked which one I preferred, and to return the one I didn't want. After examining features on both, I picked TYC. I didn't know at the time that TYC was the more expensive of the two. After shipping one back, the seller sent me a note that I needed to kick in an extra $6 as I picked the higher priced supplier! I escalated, and they reversed the up-charge.The TYC units look and fit great. Overall, I'm very pleased. AutoHalo was OK to deal with, but I think they could use some work in their order fulfillment and customer service departments.

Undercover review

Product is exactly what I expected. In the few short weeks I have had it I have been very please. It has been off and back on several times and it is easily done by my wife and me. I would recommend this product. The shipper is another matter. The shipment was lost and each terminal blamed the other. After I placed a claim with Amazon and they placed another order and shipped it, the shipper found my first shipment and delivered it. I then had to contact Amazon and cancel the second order. Shipment was about a week later than the outside expected date. Shipper was CEVA. I would prefer not to use them again if I had the option. They were courteous but not all that helpful.

Undercover tonneau

I bought the Undercover UC1010 tonneau and installed it myself today. It took about twenty minutes and only requred a 1/2 " wrench or socket. Very simple. I lifted it and put it on myself, but would not recommend a solo act because of the bulk. My truck has aluminum bed rails and they did not have to be removed. The cover would fit only slightly lower and snugger if they had been removed. I plan to remove them someday and have Line-x spray the rails to match my bedliner, but it really isn't necessary. I am thinking if you have diamond plate bedrails, you would want to remove them as they would not allow the tonneau to seal tightly, or maybe not even be covered by the tonneau correctly. This is a good solid cover and would recommend it.
