I ordered 2 of these and I love them! They sat on the floor for a couple weeks as I was trying to find the best place for them, plus I was kind of scared to install them. They are a lot heavier than I expected, they are also metal, just a FYI. You have to screw in one anchor, then let the shelf hang down and screw in the other 3 wall anchors, bring the shelf back up, then put all the screws in. I ended up putting them above my couch and I installed them by myself, so I used my couch to rest them on. If I didn't have my couch to "hold them" while I was getting everything screwed in, I would have needed a second person probably. All the hardware was perfect, just the right amount, wall anchors worked perfectly. I was hesitant as I haven't had good luck with some in the past, but these screwed right in with no problem. Both shelves were up in about 30-45 mins total, takes some time to make sure they are even, a level would be recommended!I have 2 15-20 lb Maine coons and they fit, maybe with a leg hanging off, but they appear comfortable lol. The older one is using it more than the younger one now, but I think once he gets used to them he will use them. She jumped from one shelf to the next, no movement or give from the shelves and they look fantastic. I would highly recommend these for someone looking for something different for their kitties! They are kind of expensive, but they are quality items, very well made and safe for your pets!

After placing the kitties on the shelf and giving them treats, they were comfortable jumping onto the shelves by themselves. I have one petite kitty and one large kitty (13 lbs). They both jump and play on the shelves without a problem. (I used anchor bolts to make sure the shelf was secure.)The magnetic pads are great. I just vacuum them about twice/month. The pads do not slip when the kitties jump to the shelf.The shelf blends in with our white wall and most folks don't even notice it. I would definitely recommend this product.

Pricey but the quality is there. Durable, heavyweight metal with washable pads. If you're tired of having a gradually-getting-grungier cat tree in your house, suggest you replace with these.
