Not the best

We didn't think that this car seat was the best for our newborn son for the following reasons:1. The straps didn't tighten together well (one was always looser than the other)2. There is stitching where the newborn's head goes that is scratchy and uncomfortable (although it looks cute because it is an elephant patch). We ended up placing a washcloth there to protect our son's head.3. The handle is slightly difficult to adjust and makes creaking noises (so it's harder to transfer a sleeping infant from car to house).4. The canopy doesn't rotate all the way forward so if you're using it in a stroller system, you need a back-up method to block the sunlight.The pros are:1. We didn't have problems installing it.2. The 5 point harness system clicked together easily.3. It was a cinch to click into the base or stroller.

Easy to use

I own two of these car seats for my twin infants. They ride in the car with no trouble. The car seat was relatively easy to install. The straps are easy to adjust (not all are). The seat cover is easy to remove for washing. We used the included infant headrest successfully for months. This seat was recommended to me by a friend and I've recommended it to others. The only change I'd make - the straps cannot be machine washed, but I think this is fairly standard. I remove them occasionally for spot cleaning with a sponge.

Great design, works great.

This carseat is a little bulky and heavy but I like that. I want my child in a car seat I know is sturdy. Definate buy.
