No installation manual; handle does not point straight down in off position

We just had this valve control professionally installed by our contractor's plumber in our bathroom remodel. The handle does not point straight down in the "off" position. The online installation manual never shows how to install this valve control. Very strange. Kohler customer service tells me that the handle's direction can now vary by 1 or 2 degrees either way. This does wind up looking a little off, especially for plumbing that costs this much.

Sleek, easy-to-clean, and durable shower trim from Kohler

We have two of these in our shower. I had a plumber install these, and he had no complaints about installing them. You do need a Kohler valve for use with this product: KOHLER K-304-K-NA Rite-Temp Pressure Balancing Valve or KOHLER K-304-KS-NA Rite-Temp Pressure Balancing Valve.Design: They are sleek looking and still look great after over a year.Ease of use: I prefer Kohler shower trim vs. other brands, because Kohler doesn't require a full 360 degree turn. It's just easier to go to the preferred setting in one simple movement with Kohler shower trim.Cleanability: These clean up great with just a swipe.Durability: The handles are still in great shape and still firm after over a year of use.I'd highly recommend this shower trim.
