Why doesnt it come with these?

It would make more sense from a customers perspective to have waterproof headphones come with your $1,000 waterproof metal detector. They work well, and should for the price. I felt like this was a sideways marketing strategy on garrets part for not including them. They were delivered on time, and work well. So as far as the retailer goes, this is a good review.

I took them to venice beach the other day and found a gold ring. They're waterproof and thus dust and sandproof. I used them while walking the wet sand mostly. So much better than the chinese crap that came standard. There are no redundant volume control knobs like the stock phones which is great: two less knobs to get turned wrong. I simply use the threshold knob on my infinium for barely audible volume. When i hit a target it's super loud but that fine cause it's easier to hear the more subtle faint targets as well. Simple, clean, attractive, a minimum of nooks and crannies and sealed tight.
