Very thin shade

This is very contemporary and easy to install, a good price. I didn't give it a 5 star because the lamp shade is a little too sheer. Ihave 25 watt bulbs in my 4 sconces and when they are turned on you can see the shape of the bulb thorugh the shade.

When I ordered the George Kovacs Bronze Linen Shade 11 1/2" High Wall Sconce, I thought the shade was white, but it turned out to be off-white. The description in Amazon did not make that color difference thoroughly clear. I contacted the vendor, Lighting & Locks, and they were awesome. They sent me two white shades at no extra cost. Now I have the sconce hardware I want and the shade color I prefer.

We ordered these sconces for along either side of our master bedroom bed. Unfortunately, there is not a diffuser on the top of the shade and you can see right down to the bare bulb. We took the shade to a custom shop to see if they could modify or build one to go on it. But, because of the way it is constructed, it wasn't possible.Also, the screws on both sides of the square mounting plate are not finished looking details, but rather just plain sheet metal screws. These should be more decorative in appearance for the price of the fixture.
