Excellent Humidor

The Humidor was a gift to a friend. Excellently made and perfect, however during delivery it was damaged. due to time restraints and distance and delivery i was unable to return it.I was offered $75 dollars refund (delivery was $70). after weeks of haggling i accepted....it cost me $130 to have it fixed. Out of pocket again but an excellent box if undamaged.Great box.....but poor service.

Good and Bad

Box arrived early and well packaged. Was very pleased until opened the unit. Railing inside the unit was constructed incorrectly and the hygrometer was cosmetically damaged. Emailed seller and received replacement hygrometer (no apology for thanks for me fixing the shelf railing myself). Was very upset when received replacement: I had to pay additional shipping as it was not fully paid by the company when they shipped it, was also damaged worse than the first. 3rd hygrometer received was in good condition. Took almost 2 full weeks for this unit to be complete and in the condition it was meant to be up front. Company replaced the hygrometer easily enough, but made no move to compensate for damages. Will purchase another in about 6 mo, from another vendor.

Information: My friend and I both purchased these a year ago. Each humidor is kept at a separate household.Pros: Awesome quality made humidor, holds humidity like a champ, good price for quality, very attractive, solid construction, tight seal, perfect for aging if you can convince yourself not to constantly open up the lid to fondle your cigars.Cons: Front hygrometer was garbage and my friend's didn't come sealed properly. Was an easy fix, but slightly annoying. Shelf set up and odd design makes cigar placement a game of tetris. A full-size 1000 count cigar humidor definitely would have it's advantages if you were willing to spend that much.Overall, absolutely buy this beautiful piece if you want a quality humidor with a quality seal for quality cigar storage/aging.
